Hey! Im Darren a 28 year old boy from Weymouth England. Massive xbox gamer. Love the original Halo trilogy but not too keen on Halo wars or ODST, just hoping Reach exceeds my expectations. Im playing a lot of MW2 at the moment.

Looking to build a spartan suit eventually but I am a complete n00b to all this and will try to lurk in the darkest corners of the forums for a while chomping as much info as I can until I have a pretty good idea where to start.

Hi there my name is Leo and I'm a 29 year old A&R specialist from Northern California. My friend and I started out on a project several months ago that we saw on the internet on how to make our own Lancers. A few weeks into it we realized we'd need armor to go with it so that we could show those cannon fodder storm troopers that they don't own the convention scene and after extensive searching it brought me to this interesting site. I watched the video and I know that it's a HALO universe fan site but you guys seem to be the only ones with plans on how to make some Gears of War armor. I'm also an experienced cardstock modeler with years and years of experience so I'm hoping I can figure out this Pepakura process and won't need to bother you guys with too many newbie questions. I look forward on posting my own WIP in progress thread one day once I start my first armor set but in the mean here's some pics of my progress on the Lancer.

A side shot. The fore grip integration isn't finished yet and the sight rail will be removed if I can figure out how to wire my light up reticle. Otherwise I'm just going to use a modified scope with Led's to make the lenses light up.

My name is Xander and I love games and movies like Halo and Aliens. I want to be a film director,since my friends say no to every movie that I throw to them I decided to build props then one day I said that SFX and make up will be my fall-back. My first prop that I built was airplane overawes when I was 4 then ever since I created lots of props. I'm also a member of The Hunters Lair(Predator community) and The Aliens Legacy(Aliens community). I also have a disability called Cerebral Palsy or CP in which It effects my voice and my muscles mainly on my left side but I'm a normal person but slower and diff.(cant spell good too ).Five is my favorite/lucky number so thats why its in my name. I have two cats(Willow(girl),Slinky(boy)) and one bearded dragon(Mia(girl)). A year ago I had Gracie and Iris(girls), they both had cancer but lived long and happy lifes, Willow went missing but you what they say that Spartans never die, they're just missing in action , now its just Slinky and Mia. Gracie and Willow use to watch me play halo(good times). I'm not really into music but still like it. I live in the USA. Also have a youtube channel with nothing on it but hoping that I will fill it up with all of my props. I hope to have a good time here.
