Update.

colors I've chosen. On the Left are the helm colors, and on the right are the Visor colors.

Helm with Visor in Final place.

Sorry if all my pics look the same there is just a lot of tinkering involved before I call something finally "Done"

Lookin good so far, I found that metallic silver drybrushing helped to hide the visible seams on my helm. Spot putty works good too, I noticed Calladar using it for his foam armor.

Yea, going to be doing that when I apply the first layer of plastidip. Sand it, fill the seams, the Plastidip coat again.

That's pretty epic, dude! I always thought that foam, while it could create spectacular body armor, would never really be good for making helmets. You have disproved that!

Well Folks, wish I had an Update to give you guys, but things have taken a turn for the worst here and we're now packing, we should be moved into our new place this weekend or next, my wife has told me to put off the builds until we're resetttled into our new place.

I am picking up Plastid dip today to Piant the helm up with... so I'll try to get it painted at least.

Well, No Updates yet. Just got a call saying our move will possibly be delayed for another week of so. Looking to start a PT Job here soon making quite a bit and getting off this unemployment. Everything is now completely packed. but ready to be removed and worked on when things get warm and thing get better for us. Current temp here is 38 degrees... and it's the end of march. I need it to be 50 or higher to actually work with the Plasti-Dip Spray.

I'll update next when something better happens. Thanks for following.

I've got some gaps I'll be filling tonight, then applying the base metal coat for scratch-effect when I weather it...

UPDATE!!!!!

First layer of color, we got a cold snap and it messed up the paint as it dried.

Had some run spots, but I can hand paintr to cover them.

Just to give the color a little contrast.
I'll ba applying a darker coat soon.
