Ok Fellas here a little bit more of an Update for The Helm I'm Working.

I've established that my head fits it just fine... Lol.

I have spot filler I use for my Landscape scenes and I wanted to see if it would work here.

this makes me think of the Grinch for some reason...

Well, now it's on to the Visor, whichI think I maybe using Redskins technigue.

The foam helmet is amazing. Great job. The ODST suit I'm working is made from foam. Guess one day I need to try my own foam helmet project.

@ Mensrea - The Rookie helm that is on file here on the Database is great for Foam, you wouls have to re-unfold it to be foam friendly, and You're just going to have to Hand cut a Visor, which isn't really a problem. I had fun with it, but I must warn you, the edges can be rough at the base of the Helm. So make sure you add a Thin Foam Seal. This helm I did was just a rough draft to try the technique, and boy do I know a lot more on what not to do when making a foam helm.

Can you still wear your glasses, and put the helmet on???????? Your foam work gives me hope that I can still this. Keep up the good. Also what are you going to use to fill any holes you may have left over. Spot putty, hot glue, etc......????? Spot putty works for me, and you can sand it.

I have two helms and ODST is next, and so far I am trying to see if I can fit my glasses.

I'm only near sighted, my eyes adjust after a bit and I'm fine.

Just added a foam rubber seal around the base of the visor.

I'm trying to find Ideas to set up batteries inside the helm, but I have no room. I saw that the helm can however have an uplink module put onto it's left side, But I cannot find a file that has yet to be created in the collection.... I may just ask around.
It's the one that looks like half a camcorder and goes on the left side.

I think I saw that addon in Reach. Should be easy to scratch build with foam.

Yea, Scratch would be easy Just the only thing is is that I need pics of it, I can only find one that is the Helm with it from the front view.

You should have a ton of room in the chest for a battery. Run a wire from the helmet to the chest for power. Assuming you going to have an undersuit/neck seal, just hide it under there.
