Jester 1014: Combo Pep Build

so for this thing is only 15 pieces instead of 43.

The less complicated the better
This is looking great so far! Can't wait to see what it looks like when you're finished (and see how you cover the seams).

I'm playing around with it a bit, but I've been applying a thin bead of hot glue on the seam and then rolling the cold handle of my exacto knife over it. It's makes what looks like a nice hotglue weld.

Finished the thigh. It looks a little big but fits nice. I may shave the edges a bit. I think this thigh looks more accurate to the characters.

This is holster piece. I made it completely separate from the main pieces for reason, and it came out well, When I make the left thigh I'll be sure to include a small tut vid on how it comes together.

This hot glue method works wonders.

Finished this newer thigh.

Fits a lot nicer, now to work on the inner thigh section.

Here is a size comparison from old to new, too small is on the right and newly reworked is on the left.... Big difference

Well Fellas,

Sorry I haven't updated for a while, been busy with finals for english and all. Also I've been randomly addicted to Reach and Reach Forge. MAde a Few maps in Forge world if anybody wants to try them for fun. #1 is Jester's World by Jester0228, and my 2nd is Jester's Asylum ( Iadded a bit to the original asylum), and third is still a WIP but it's called Locked? by Jester0228. If anybody tries them I'd like to hear some feed back if possible.

Anyway back to the Build. I revisited my thigh with the magnets and realised some thing. I made the inner thigh plates too big!
So I cut them away and added Hot glue for strength on the inside of all of it's seams, and now it's perfect! I tried it on and everything, I can even sit in it! I'll add pics in a bit, I'm working on some EC for class and then I'll post pics of my latest piece.

Your build. My xbox got an unfixable red ring half a year ago-I got it from a friend and fixed it- but I still got a month of playtime out of it (at one point I attached a miniature fan to a heat-sink). Crashed when I was on the last level of Gears of War.

Glad you and your little one liked the video. Sarge is full of wholesome entertainment.

Well I have my Chest piece Templates ready to be cut, reduced the page amount from 72 to 46.
Gonna start tonight.

If I don't pass english this time, the wifel has put her foot down to say "Bye-bye 405th and any other of my Hobbies until I pass."

Yea, but I literally have about he worst time trying to learn something that I know will not benefit my career.
I'm in Engineering and I really don't see how writing about shakespear is going to help me come up witha building or Jet design. Just sayin.

Well that right thigh I just rebuilt, the Larger one, It turned out to be way too big for my self in the height department. But I do have a MArine friend of mine who is 6'8" (True Spartan if he's Armored). He going to see about makin him a Spec. Ops MK V (Carter). He wants his Visor color to be Metallic Green and his base Paint Black and Secondary Silver.

Well, what if you need to write a report on your design. Need to know proper grammar and stuff (and shakespeare is kinda fun to read, at least for me)
More tall people should build Spartan armor, but a tall geek isn't common as common as average-sized ones I guess.

You should visit Ohio GMer, Tall geeks are the norm. The Smaller ones are acutally not very decent people to hang with and they focus too much on MTG.

And I Passed! Got an A- on my Final too. I just guessed on the B part.

Now to work on the suit this weekend! I should have some help too.

Armor time! Yay! A-! Yay!
I never saw what was so fun about MTG... you command a plethora of monsters, which is what every cardgame seems to do (sure, it may have been one of the first, but shouldn't there be variety?).
Why not a card game where you command only 1 character? The Dragon Booster card game was like that. *looks at the cards, sighs* and some of the cards are transparent too. Too bad the show was canceled after 40 episodes
