Indeed, the head is on my TDL, but when I did the print out the part numbers got allllllllllllll jumbled up around the jaw area :( sad sad panda.

Asuming you're referring to the Guyver head, yea, some of the details on the face are still pretty small, so you have to use the 3d version as a refrence, unless somone can tell me a way to make the text smaller.

Decade is really my main build, Double is second and all others are last. I covered the faiz helmet with some model magic last night and im gonna sand it dow so its smooth, and the use bondo to make all the ridges. if you can get a Double model though that would be great.

And yeah, i was thinking it would be much easier to make all the rider helmets with out their head accessories. just and them on later.

I'm also tempted to buy the product key for pd3, so I can save my stuff, is it worth it?

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.

I will get the quick stuff out of the way: buy the key...it really is worth it; I found myself making multiple files with different changes to each one, and it helped a bunch on the faiz unfolds. Now, I have to keep the program open all the time, or risk losing all my work.

I took a look at decade, and amazingly you could build it without the bars on the helmet, but you would have to be precise with the bars when you add them on later. The ones that would seem easier to add things to later would most likely be both decade and diend; the other helmets need to be built as one complete item.

The double helmet I will try to finish and upload hopefully by this weekend, or sometime early next week(remember, you will have to unfold as I can't). I'm trying to figure out how to join the helmet back together for faiz so it still looks as one uniform piece, since all rider helmets are a standard two-piece format(looking at ebay helmets/watching old episodes is a good example); unless your head is small enough that you can put on/remove the helmet without any problems, then it needs to be split down the sides.

Okay I think i will get the key. and the faiz helmt is at 369mm and it looks like it will fit, so thee others shouldnt be too different. send me some models, like Kiva blade and Agito, Ill see if i can get them separated too.

IIRC, Kamen Rider(to be referred as KR from now on) Skull is a modification of the KR Double helmet.

KR Double helmet ready to unfold:KR Double helmet

Note on the helmet: underneath each eye is a very, very tiny area that would not adjust; its very minuscule, and will most likely not hinder the build. It will need to be filled in with bondo/fiberglass/smoothcast(whatever you use will work), but beyond that it is ready...just be sure to go over the whole file carefully while unfolding, because there are some areas that can easily be missed and might require multiple passes if you get it wrong. Enjoy!

Oh, that part under the eye is where you see out of the helmet. you dont need to fill it up.

let me rephrase what I originally posted; when you open the file in PD3, there are two tiny spots that show up in red underneath each eye; I've done a screen capture to explain:[attachment=15365:ScreenHunter_01 Mar. 14 12.51.jpg]

Those two little red spots are the ones I was talking about; they are the ones you would need to fill in; everything else is okay. As far as looking through the helmet, you can make it so you look through the area under the eyes(how the suit actors look through it), or you could do a little more work and use Redshirt's method on making see-through visors and modify it so you can look directly through each eye: Tutorial: Make & Paint Your Own See-through Visor

I plan on attempting to modify this method for Faiz.

tried to open the Double File in Pep and it crashes it every time.

Really? which version of pep do you have?

I had this issue before when I was working on Kaixa; most likely it has to do with the older version of PD3 not supporting the current version of Sketchup(what I use to edit the KR models). Try installing the most recent version of PD3 and opening it in that; let me know if it happens after doing that.

McCaboose, are you getting this problem as well, or are you able to open the file without it crashing?

I can open it with no problems.

Then this definitely has to do with incompatibility between older versions of PD and the most recent version of Sketchup. Try it out with the current version of PD3, and it should open fine.

I'm gonna guess you have a three-button mouse(who doesn't?), so you hold your right mouse button down to control the rotation, and your mouse wheel will zoom in and out, while your left mouse button will be used to make your cuts to unfold.

Any other info can be accessed through the help menu.

I will have the shoulders and chest-piece for Double ready as soon as possible, hopefully sometime this week. The Decade helmet(without bars) should come along sometime after that, followed by his shoulders and chest.

When is the event you are preparing these for?
