MK VI: sized correctly?

I plan on building Flying Squirrel's HD MK VI Chest and thus made Supertaco's tester. I'm pushing 6' 2" and set the test chest to a height of 435mm. Seems about right on length but there's a huge gap between my back and the back plate. Is that normal? and does this test build look about right?

Looks to be sized just about right. You could go smaller if you wanted to (don't worry about the neck hole being too small, just about all Mk VI chests are split in 2). Don't worry about the gap, that's just how it is.

Looks like you sized it right, the gap is normal, once you have under armor on it will help hide that area
