OK so as many of you know MW2 is downright awesome, and the most awesome character is of coarse Ghost.

What I want to do is recreate his attire meaning skull mask, chest harness, coat, pants, boot, etc.

so far I have found this

link to chest harness

but I can't seem to find the ideal mask, or the ideal coat.

as for the pants I already have some standard bdu pants in desert and forest camo.

here are some references

and these are other variations that I don't really aim to recreate

All I could suggest to you is check out the stuff at a army suply store, I make pep files and have some weapons that I've pepped from the game but thats all I know and do.

Looks like the chest carrier is a Specter Gear M-1 MK2 carrier. Here is a link to Blackhawk. Looks very similar

The gloves look like nomex ones ive seen used in the marines. Maybe something like this?

The fleece could probably be a generic one with patches sewn on...maybe a bit o' looking will find you something closer

The baclava will probably have to be custom made...

It's probably not a whole lot of help for a costume type setup (and I can't remember if Ghost has one but I would assume so) but for reference the tactical knife in MW2 is essentially the Blackhawk Tatang with a few modifications.

good finds, and a good store for me to look through, although the fleece I would like to have the pockets on the arms.

yeah I also think that is the knife that use for the "tactical" one in MW2

I think I've seen the mask at Spencers in the mall. If you have one in your area check there. You could also try a Hot Topic or some other store where those Gothy, Emo types buy their weird fashions.

For the pants, you can get standard BDU pants in either ACU, Multicam, OD, Khaki or black depending on which one you're going with.

For the mask, my friend linked me to this. We were planning on making one as well for airsofting.

Headset

TAD Gear makes a jacket that looks almost like the one in the game. Has a hood as well.

But that jacket is expensive. Here's a cheaper alternative. It doesn't have the hood though. I was going to pick one of these up but my local AEX store was sold out at the time.

There's some arguments saying what the chest rig is. Closest thing looks like an RRV with the top portion folded down. This site has a few of them, some with a plate carrier in the back, and others with hydration packs on the back.

For the Balaclava, You'll Probably have to custom paint it. Since its Winter, Balaclava's are readily available! I bought one At Dick's for 24$ for my ODST suit to keep my hair out of the way, but after I saw this thread, I had to try it out. Luckily, The texture of the Balaclava (say that 10 times fast) is easy to paint with simple $1 Wal-Mart Water Base paints. Here are my Results: ( I didn't wanna hijack your thread by posting pics so ill just post a link.)

If you wanna know, its slightly watered down dark brown used to make the basic shape of a skull, then Ivory Drybrushed over it lightly followed by a heavier drybrush for the more solid areas. Final touchup includes filling in spaces with Black or Dark brown and doing some light Dark brown shadowing. No more than 1 hour to make.

P.S. Drybrushing is where you take the paint and dab most of it onto a paper towel so your brush is barely holding the color. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drybrush
