I enjoyed that thank you. Pics i was not quite understanding what your intention was but the video helped a lot.

What i enjoy most about it is the simplicity of the device.

Only suggestion is to work on making it thinner and to sand down the "blade" part so it looks more refined. Other wise nice work. Also food for thought would it be possible to be spring action?

making it spring action could be posible, i will start on a seperate hidden blade with a spring, thanks for the idea mate,

There is a pretty good indy mogul video that shows you how to make a spring blade.

I dont have the link right now, but I will try to find it.

Done :)

At least, that's the one I think you're referring to. Just but a blade in it as opposed to a pistol.

Cheers!

BTW: Nice setup, especially for only 40minutes

here we have the wood we need to make the blade. so now measure the wood and

mark out 15 inch peice and cut it. it must be wide enough that it doesnt move

about to freely in the tube but not so much that it wont slide.

S6302188.jpg

next we have the plastic that you put electrical wires in to keep them tidy

S6302189.jpg

another pic of the plastic

S6302191.jpg

and my fave tool

S6302194-1.jpg

now measure the tube and mark out 13 inch peice and cut it

S6302201.jpg

it should look like this

S6302195.jpg

S6302196.jpg

now here is a pics of the blade

S6302202.jpg

now back to the tube, mark a line on the top of the tube

S6302203.jpg

now cut out the line that you marked

S6302206.jpg

you should now have something like this

S6302210.jpg

now slide the blade into the tube and using a pen or marker put a dot on the

blade where you will put a screw to stop it sliding out to far

S6302211.jpg

S6302213.jpg

S6302212.jpg

this is how the screw is placed

S6302200.jpg

S6302198.jpg

S6302197.jpg

this is were you put the screw on the blade

hope this helps, will try and do a better one when i have more time
