My first build.. think its good enough to wear to Mega Con? (Pic Heavy)

Hey all,

So, I made this suit about two years ago.. for Halloween,

Last year for Halloween I took it out, repainted it and finished it off with the Visor (which came out slightly crooked dang it all). Anyway, here are the pictures from my cruise, and I wanted to ask if you all thought it was respectable enough to wear to Mega Con, if anyone from the 405th was dressing up for Mega Con, and if I could join. Please I welcome your completely honest and brutal critiques, I know that its not perfect and i have a lot to work on with my next build. I appreciate any and all candid advice.

I know I could use some better Strapping techniques to make it a bit tighter, and also perhaps a bigger chest plate. I also have bought a black neck cover so you wont see the skin.

Things generally look nicer with a bit of bondo and detailing. Your suit's scaling is pretty good, though!

I'm going to have to agree.

It looks good with the sizing. I'd suggest get something to cover your neck too.

Other than that, Great Job!!

If your happy with it then wear it to megacon, It don't look that bad, also everybody will know its a Halo suit, I say go with it

I think it looks fine as it is, though there's always room for improvement.

If you don't mind, a few suggestions:
1. Add the toe part of the boots.
2. Neck seal (though you already said you were going to do that)
3. Maybe add some more weathering/scratches/wear & tear to the armor.

Other than that, it's a great looking Cheif suit. Wear it with pride!

It looks solidly pepped and scaled. I would add a bit of bondo and detail, as that can never go wrong. Other than that it looks fine.

Thanks. I need to look up the bondo section as I have no clue how to use bondo yet, so I think that will be next, and also I do have a toe piece it just fell off... any suggestions for a better way to attach it to the shoe?
