So far, it's awkward on the eyes, as everyone else has said. I'm afraid the post points system might get abused, if people mark posts that they simply disagree with as negative instead of for legitimate reasons. And, any topics that we had read completely now show as having new posts, and the "go to first unread post" button doesnt take to the last post we read before the update. It's really no big deal, but will these be restored?

First of, thank god the target="_blank" stuff has stopped. I want to decide when I what to open a new window, the back button is less hassle than a new tab.

I also miss the easy to use "View New Posts/Topics since last visit" option at the top. I see the "View New Content" RSS Feed, but I odn't like the layout it gives when you click on it

I second this, does "Todays active content" have a similar function?



I know the design is not up, but at the moment text goes from one side of my monitor all the way to the other, very hard to read... I am looking forward to the post rating function!

I'm not a fan of "change just for change's sake" and I just don't see any real improvement here. Navigation is clunky, templates aren't done, overall layout/usability was better on the old site, I abhor the idea of a "rating" system that decides what I get to see, multiple clicks to access what used to be immediately available on the main page, back-button doesn't work in IE anymore (may just be a security setting, and I just LOVE the new giant ad bar on the right side)...



I appreciate the hard work and the desire to upgrade - In my opinion I just don't see how this is any better, sorry...

There's no turning back now. There are specific reasons we upgraded, and we've been discussing them in the bridge. None are "just for change sake". We'll get a new template and things so it feels more like home. We'll just be patient.

well were getting to the 405th look... logo is now here... colors are starting to apear... maybe new icons when you have time so we can tell witch ones are active and read in these colors... any word on the fixed width vs the streached width we have now?

Well i dont hate it. I really like all the new features that Adam is showing in a couple of new topics. I am missing the "most active threat" button. I was always nice to know what topics where "hot". I really like my new PM box.



What I don't like is that my Avatar is gone missing? Any Clue what happened there?

Many of the links from forum threads seem to be broken. They have "..." in the middle of them, and not just how they're displayed, but the links themselves have "..." (Take a look at SKG's Pepakura Hub sticky.) Other than that, I think it'll just take some getting used to.



Oh, and large pics don't seem to resize anymore to fit the screen.

I'm confused. We gotta stop with these updates lol, I like MJOLNIR Armor, then we moved to the last theme, then we move again. Lol, Anyways, Good work Adam. I like it.

Overall it's a pretty nice transition.



I won't bother commenting on little color issues and whatnot, as I'm sure they'll get sorted out in time.



I do miss the gallery feature in the profiles though.
