New member, start of a build

Finally getting around to posting another update. Attended C2E2, which was a blast, and got some fun pictures out of it. I also have some damaged armor, so I'm gonna take the opportunity to reflect on what works for me and what doesn't while I repair/replace parts of my suit.

First order of business, the fun pictures!

I put the cruiser in this one, but the glassing beam is from BHE Photos. Thanks! It looks great!

The next two edits are thanks to CaptainFawx. Yet again, I appreciate the time and energy you put into these amazing edits.

I like to think of this one as "Breaching."

"Overwatch."

I don't have one in mind for this photo.

So those are some of the best photos I got from C2E2. This post is a tad photo heavy, so I'll make another for the next topic.

Now onto the lessons learned. First lesson, I don't like my Halo 3 ODST legs. The problem might lie with me and poor scaling or something, but it's mostly an issue with the clamshell design. Either way, I have taken steps to no longer need to lug them around and not be able to wear them. Behold!

I am going to use Halo Reach ODST legs. I'm fine with a good kitbash. In universe, my ODST just prefers the older armor for it's higher maneuverability, since the newer stuff still doesn't provide a ton of defense against plasma fire.

So legs are getting replaced, which also includes boots, which is a positive, because I may or may not have broken my boot armor...

Another thing that was damaged, was my helmet. Dropped it on concrete... And a seam lost it's filler primer, so I'm gonna have to repair that.

And I'm looking to retire my DMR, too. It's just too long to carry around all the time. Thinking of an MA5K or the SMG I started this journey with. We'll see. That said, I do have a new sidearm to complete, thanks to the magnificent NobleofDeath16 who gifted it to me. Pictures are to follow when progress is made.

I think that brings us up to date. Until next time, Helljumpers!
