Stil waiting on my chest to dry. It should be done tomorrow, it was pretty close today. Buttt in the mean time, i build a two piece left boot, which in my opinion turned out pretty awesome!

I'm hoping to get to resin my chest piece tomorrow! Its about as close to dry as it is going to get. I have figured out that it was due to my poor mixing, but it was the best i could do with a stinger pumping toxins into my toe! Heres some pics of my boot though (left). Enjoy~

Not that anyone watches this, but for my own sake, i got the visor in the mail today. Hopefully i can cut it soon. But i must wait for this heat to pass. Its unbearable outside right now.

Post a picture of what the visor looks like installed in the helmet. I may look into getting one of these for my Carter helmet. The visor's I've been looking at have been way more expensive, $35 - $40.

For this first helmet, yeah. Im just going with a simple single visor look. Maybe aklong the road with another helmet i'll go more elaborate, but for this, i just want to get it to look well enough for "Halo"ween this year. Thanks for all the tips though! I understand real life issues, and dont think any different of you! I'll continue to update picture and you can continue to watch my armor come to life.

Well, i got my paper visor cut out today! That was an . . . interesting experience. I had to make due with an angle cutter instead of a dremel. I cut out the basic shape leaving about a 1-inch border and then filed it down from there. A few mishaps, some pieces got messed up, but oh well.

Got more resin today. That means if the weather isnt all gray and gloomy tomorrow (some summer in ca, huh?) i plan on beginning to fiberglass the insde. Im so excited to see how well it fits!

Edit:: I tried on the leg parts, they fit pretty well.

Im really am tempted. It would be fun, and its all paid for already. I would be curious to see if anyone else from the 405th shows up at my local gamestop. That would be pretty sweet.

Alright, got to start fiberglassing my chest plate. Very happy with the outcome so far, but i did the easy part, the rest are canyons and covers by the structural supports. Grrr. Well here's some pictures.

I didnt feel like resizing the pictures, sue me DX

Looks like everything is coming along great! Are you gonna make all your pieces high def eventually? Also thanks for posting pics of that particular visor. I was wondering how gold it would be in person since I couldnt really tell from the ebay pic. I'll be getting 2 of those hopefully next month.

It is working well. Its see through right now,l but i have a feeling once it gets put into the helmet, and no light is coming from the back side it will be perfect!

Ha ha, yeah. Im more worried about getting it done for Reach release and "Halo"ween thias year. Then ill go back and remake all the pieces to high def, or ill just make another suit.
