I've played for about three years. I first got a Tippmann 98 and bought a flatline. A word of advice to people who are just getting into paintball, take your gun in your/someone's backyard and get to know your gun, WELL. I didn't do anything with my flatline until I was in the middle of a game and the paintball would fly level till about 30 feet then dip about a foot for 5 feet and then fly up at about a 30 degree angle. I was trying to shoot a guy in a creek bed and the ball was either 10 feet in front of him or 100 feet behind him. I upgraded to the X7 a while ago and you won't believe how much more accurate it is with the barrel it came with, and it only got better with a flatline. I now have the X7 with the air-thru stock, flatline, and a combat grip, it's in a completely different league than the walmart guns. ...in my opinion.
