PAX Prime 2011 - Who's going?

Regarding the Thursday photoshoot, do we have a ballpark idea of when during the day that will be taking place? I want to be there, but I need to make arrangements to be out of work, in-costume, and on-site during the shoot. To that end, I would favor doing it later in the day, either late afternoon or early evening. I would rather not leave my co-workers hanging in the middle of a project.

Also, if anyone is arriving in Seattle on Wednesday (preferably not too late in the evening,) I would be happy if we could get together for dinner at a local establishment. Sadly though, my favored establishment announced yesterday that they were going out of business. It was a classy place that was open all night and made the best key-lime pie in town.

I wish that we could give you a definite time. The concern is that Hyo, GMoney and I are having to cross the USA-Canada border. Were car pooling. Were not sure how long the line will be and were not sure if we will be subject to a "random" search. My best guess is that it will be after dinner (Early evening). I'll check with Hyo and see if we can give a more accurate time. Should Thursday not pan out (due to what ever), we will have more opportunities throughout the weekend.

I still have one problem. I need a weapon. Any suggestions on something I can throw together in like 2-3 days? I was thinking pistol, but the H3 pistol pep is like 90 parts. I may go with the plasma pistol since it's the simplest one I can find.

Helmet is done except for padding and fan. All painting is done. Now it's just finishing up a bunch of little stuff (I hope).

6 Days till HALOFEST​

Chief opens the canister.

"OMG! Someone took a nuclear dump in this!"

Chief uses the TP as explained and proceeds to rush out.

Chief grabs his shotgun and the nuclear waste.

I think we all need to do that... Evac

Poor Chief! He really does not have a clue!
But he does a great job of disposing nuclear waste

Longshot is correct, we should be in town sometime in the evening. The goal is around anywhere from 4-6. Though the earlier the better.
But there's a few friends we'd really like to visit with in our stop over in Vancouver before the drive down to Seattle.

If you don't know Halo Fest has it's own separate entrance that takes you directly to the area instead of having to wait in the prime line and walk through and navigate to the stairs to the third floor. The entrance will be on the corner of 8th, and pike of the convention center building. The question at hand is will you be waiting at the main line to get into Pax Prime or the line into Halo Fest?
