Final update,
I finished the paint on the helmet, and it looks sick
And I can see through the peephole
Thank you Dirtdives and Austin3991 for the support. For now I will take a long break from the forms, but I will return. It won't be for forever. I am really excited for the navy and I appreciate the support for that. I hope that I can return soon to keep the torch burning, as put by Dirtdives. I have learned so much and been glad to be a part of this community, the forms have been such a great and supporting place. Well, until I return, keep on building and doing what you guys do best. For now, this is goodbye for me

not completely back yet, but soon.... for now, here are some pics I had sent to me from home, showing the progress I made right before I left. I plan to be working on this build come october, because that's when i move into a house, but for now imma see what I can do here.

So I got the first wave of orders. i will have everything by next week, and I am so excited!! Here is what i picked up so far
The big roll is a roll of 2mm eva foam I found. it wasn't that expensive, and it is big...
Very big...
That line in the middle is just a kink from when it was rolled.
Side note, these heat guns last so long, iv'e been using my dad's back home. I've never seen one this clean and new lol
Anyways materials aside, while I am waiting for my foam to get here, I will be working on the files. I did get my brother to send me my old project file and avatar file for armorsmith. I changed a bit of scaling, and also decided to get rid of the commando shoulder in favor of the double odst. I just like the look of the odst shoulders better.
I am so excited and eager to continue working on this project. I do still have school during the week, but now at least, I am more able to use my freetime on this. and as a bonus I actually have money for the project lol. I'm so excited to see where this goes

But seriously, that is really good weathering. I like how you did more in the front than the back. Also I really like the crisscross pattern you did on the right eye. Turned out great!

You're not working off the floor are you? Dude, get a small card table or something......you're going to kill your back otherwise. How many suits are you planing on building? That is a hell of a lot of foam.
