@ mr oreo: ah ha! I was wondering when someone would notice that. I notice that on some helmet builds for the MVI, some members tend to have that piece outside of the visor, when in fact it should go into the visor. A side visor dent as Jedistumpy puts it. I left those pieces off on purpose, so that I may either ad them in later, or just paint it in with black, to give it the proper effect.

To answer your question, I used only FG resin over the cardboard. Works well. Of coarse, I used some bondo, to help hide some minor mistakes.
Another questions Jedi... on the inner visor, do you saw off the sides to give yourself some room in the helmet, or do you just leave them there?
