How do I always miss your updates? Anyways, I'm still very impressed! The suit is looking amazing! Unfortunately for me, my suit is put on hold again and again and again... rather annoying, still dont even have 4 peices pepped... But again GREAT work, you inspire me ALOT

I hear epoxy resin isn't too bad in small quantities, but in larger amounts, like for armor purposes, it can get expensive. IDK, maybe I heard wrong. What types are available and how much for what quantity?

Sorry I didn't see this before. I got a gallon and a half of epoxy resin with mustard pumps for less than $100 shipped. Depending on how much you waste it seems like just about enough to do a suit (I don't know since I'm not quite finished).

Well, okay... not much of an update but thought that I need to show you all something. I've talked with Oreo to see if he could make an easier unfold of the bicep/shoulder piece for me to try out (I'm not trying to put down Ral's unfold of the bicep folks. I LOVE Ral's unfolds and his work). The result is great! I manage to put it together faster and the bicep was easier to put together. The only faults I found on the model was that it needed a couple of more folds that were missing. I've marked those folds in red. I already told Oreo about this and he'll get to it when he can.







And to Spartan II, here's a pic of what I wore at Dragon Con. This photo was taken at Video Games Live. It was a blast! I'll post a thread about it later...

As for the bicep, nice model (Hero) and nice build (pooper). I don't know if I missed this being mentioned somewhere, but is Hero going to be making smoother Pep files for the other armour pieces you still have to build for your new suit? :unsure

To everyone that left a reply, thanks for the kind comments! I'd answer each one of you individually, but I'm busy at work today. But WRising, glad to see you're still kickin! I haven't seen you around for a while. Yeah, you've missed updates, but you can always view them when you can.



Soulless and Oreo, I know you guys are busy. Just letting you two know I'm waiting on progress pics from you both!



And at Spartan II, yeah I finally posted a pic!



As for the bicep, it's a very good model. Oreo made the some minor changes I suggested and it's ready! As for Hero making more pep files, that would be great, but I know he's already really busy. I believe I asked him to only do the bicep piece. Just an experiment we both played a part in is all... but no, I'm going to use current pep files unless he gets the new ones out.





As for me, I'm still working on the shoulder/bicep pieces little by little, so not too much is getting done with that. Why you may ask? Well, I'm working on something else right now that'll be done by the end of the month. Stay tuned, it's going to be awesome!



But hey! I'm still working on the MVI! I'm not stopping that. I'm just doing it slower that usual.

And yes, I'll be unfolding the HD files and releasing them as I go. I'm currently pepping Crackhead's old HD thighs (his new ones don't have the inner "scales"). So far, so good. There are a few tricky parts that I'll have to fix in v2 of the current unfold.

Yeah, I'm getting things ready for Halloween, so progress on the MVI is slow at the moment. I've received hand plates from MrOreo123 last week (which are great!) that I plan to post as soon as I sand them down and trim the flashing. Also SLOWLY working on the shoulders still...



And I apologize if progress for this suit is slow at the moment, but I've been busy getting an ODST helmet ready! I'll post that as well soon... I'm waiting on a package from Sean Bradley to go with my helmet and have it all set up. I'd like for my brother to wear it during halloween, but if not, I'll switch between suits.



It's still in progress, just very slow at the moment.
