I was a "little" disappointed, I thought it would be Master chief's ship compartment that was cut off the rest.
He's alive.. So its not that far fetched.

I guess its nice for a change.... id like to see some definite tie-ins though.

It's a prelude to the happenings in Halo 3 so Chief hasn't arrived yet. Adds to the gameplay and brings in another element. I think it's great.

Not that farfetched? In the end of Halo 3, cortana states that she has no clue where they are.
The teaser has the words 'prepare to drop'

It wouldnt fit the timeline wither.. =/

Can't wait for this, I love sneaking and sniping in games.

Seems like there's a new type of SMG being added. To me, it looks too different to be just a normal SMG with add-ons.

Freakin' awesome! Looks like I'll have to make that ODST after all. Watching this video makes me see the SMG in a new light. It appears that they have it equipped with a sound suppressor, red-dot sight, and dual magazines on either side of the gun. Über sexy!

Pure Awesomeness! That smg is Pimped out! If those really are dual magazines and the mags have not changed from the other games, then it has a 120 round capacity. Dual Wielding = 240 round capacity. So many bullets, so few faces to put them in.

I think this game could really open the halo universe up.

the game takes place right after the prophet's slipspace jump in New Mombasa, so from the middle of halo 2 to the start of halo 3 most likely.

Funny thing, when the KEEP IT CLEAN thing came out a month or so ago, my fiance (that very night) had a dream about the new Halo thing and he dreamed it would be an ODST-focused H3 campaign extension.
