Excellent job on this stuff by the way. The fan community is always impressed when a developer cares enough to make an appeal to them with costumes and community contact. Sid and all the guys at Nightmare do great work, and these suits look very impressive.
Kudos to getting the pic up on the 360 dashboard E3 menu. It is a shame though that there was no content within the videos backing up your exposure. When I saw it, I immediately went hunting through all the E3 videos for some explanation of the photo, and was disappointed when there wasn't anything there. They should have given you guys more exposure than that if they were going to use your image to draw people's interest. You listening Major Nelson??
As far as your suggested contest, it sounds like a wonderful idea we could really get behind. Please let us know what you've got in mind for it, and the admins (and the Adams ) here can make it more official, and get you maximum exposure.

See, the trouble is, PAX is the same time as Dcon. :-( It's a tough choice for 405thers.
Honestly, if you're serious about the contest thing, and have some assets, we can front page it (new fancy front page done by Vexona and her team www.405th.com) and I'm sure we could get some pretty cool things done.

Don't worry mate - I often muse on whether I should have been Texan also. My dad did a lot of work in Houston, and I seem to have a great affinity for firearms and BBQ ribs, even though I've only ever been to Florida and Georgia...

Imperial Dick I have a quick question. Will there be a limited edition version of the Section 8 game?
I would also like to add that the extra content offered at Game Stop might have me reserving my copy through them which will be a first but that's why I wanted to know if there were any other versions than the regular one.
By the way that armor is way sick also the S8 Shoulder plate lion emblem helm makes this just killer!

Just a quick update to say we're still figuring our what to do here.
And to post this:
Sorry about the crappy quality - taken in my office on my iPhone...Superman figure to give scale (statue is about 7" tall).
This is a statue we had comissioned. So far, there are only two in the world (one painted and one unpainted). They were made by Gentle Giant Studios using a rapid prototype machine and the actual in-game character model.
I'm thinking that these might make a sweet part of the prize.
p0rtalman - not sure if we can include Aussies. Section 8 will be distributed by Atari in your neck of the woods - I'll see if they're interested in jumping on board.
