Thanks Bob. I'll be posting up another update by tonight when i get to work on my armor after school

WOW, amazing, very great work :D and great quality pictures too Just curious, I see you fiberglassed the torso as a whole? how do you plan on putting it on? or is it just resined atm, not glassed?

I checked out pooper's hot glue method armor, it's amazing, sadly I cannot do that here because hot days here can practically melt hot glue hehe.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I made a website in which has all the armor pep files that I am currently using. It's pretty easy to figure out where they are. I only made this for you guys on the 405th in case you cannot find it or broken links on other threads. I hope it helps and credits are on the page. It's also on my forum sig too. Site Here
Excellent progress so far, Soulless. And thanks for posting the files you used. There's a couple that have been hard to find, and I don't think I've run across Bevbor's HD helmet before. Nice.

Thanks and I was looking at your armor and it came out really nice for it being the hot glue method.

Thanks Soulless!

I'm just wondering about your torso piece... is it the smoother version of Flying Squirrels? If so, was it easy to build? I don't know if I can go through those damn little squares again with the other file. :p

@centerside
I did the torso whole because of it having a chance to warp. I rather be cautious than sorry later. I will separate it though.

@MrOreo123
Thanks and I might plan on just dumping my whole pep collection and share it to you guys. I do have so many models to choose from :D

@pooper
Lol yes the torso is FS new one. I'd say it is a pretty decent build for what you get. I mean the torso is smoother than hell. It took me 2 days to cut and build. Pretty damn worth it if you tell me. I do remember how the old torso was and it made me laugh on what you said :p

EDIT: Instead of making a new post, I decided to post up my updates here. Right now I just glassed my ab plate, glassed the bottom right side of the chest (where the pics didn't get), and finally, resined the inside of my shins. I'd think that by the end of this weekend, my chest should be fully glassed and prepped for bondo/rondo. It's sad to say that, that will be my fave step since I think it is funnnnn. Also I am going to finish pepping my EOD helm and post pics in that thread by tonight? I'll post pics eventually when there is a significant change. Soooo you all can just imagine it with a layer of glass and resin :D

I got some more bondo and It's a gallon of it. I <3 it lol. There is soooo much and I doubt I'll run out until my suit is finished, unless there may be some left. But on the chest, I put rondo on the left side while the right has regular bondo. I guess you guys can figure out how awesome rondo can be. I also rondo'd the ab plate. Tell me what you guys think.

Another update!!!! I rondo'd the top shoulder piece of my chest, fiberglassed the shins, added small amounts of fibgerglass to those impossible to reach areas of the chest :sleep: and I think of may have developed a new technique of some sort for those areas. It's in the works at the moment while i see how it goes. Finally i resined half of my EOD helm which is starting to gain more progress :D

It's looking great Soulless! I'm a little bit jealous of your torso... it's looking great! :)

I was in the process of cutting mine out, but started thinking it may be too big. I printed mine at the scale of 42.0 cm (flying squirrels old model) but want to use the smoother version after I saw yours. I'm 5'8 as well, and saw that you scaled your torso at 40.0 cm (if I'm correct. The default size of that file is 42.0 cm).

Do you think it'll fit okay? Wasn't sure if you tried it on...

Oh yeah, love the EOD! Who's file is that?

Actually it is 40 cm in height and I did try it on after i started fiberglassing here and there. I''d say it is just perfect :D I'm not sure if my other pics got deleted that are somewhere along these pages. There are pics of me with it on. (Darn it I didn't type fast enough to get 69th post ): )
Anyway Here's a pic with it on hope it helps lol.

EDIT: That EOD file is mine that I made from SuperTaco's

F'ing Awesome! This helps out alot... you just saved me from hours of cutting and glueing. I'm not quit as slim as you, but I'm sure it'll still work! Time to scale the file down to 40 cm... Thanks! :D

I thought about 41 cm as well, but I don't want it to be too wide to the point where I'll lose mobility. My old torso piece was just perfect... 40 cm old FS file. I opened up the new file and the default was a 42 cm. So 40 cm should be just fine.

soulless armors looking great !

pooper: my chest i built was 46cm size wise its perfect but i cant reach across my chest to other arm but other than that its fine im 6'1"

@pooper
Then I hope the 40 cm will work great for you :D

@Jjack & BobvDijk
Thanks for the comment guys

I'll be sanding down the ab plate today and parts of my chest. Seeing how i kinda put in the fiberglass a little too messy and there are balls of resin through out the armor. Pretty much it is too uneven for the rondo to cover up. I hope to post up pics by tonight if I have enough day light to work.

Another update. This time I just rondo'd one side of the chest along with two parts of my right bicep. I think i could have the chest done by end of May or at least fully sanded :D

Another update! I manage to have enough time to make another round at rondo. I rondo'd the front part of the chest.
I took apart my helmet and did some touch up painting here and there. But then I added black paint to the bottom vent looking thing on the helmet. I think it is a nice touch to it. Also be very careful when you drill holes for your LED lights. When I did it, I went straight through the other side. So right now I am bondoing it.

Its looking really good!
The hole on the side of the helmet sucks, but at least it isn't something you can't fix, lol

@IceTray
Yeah it did sucked. It's been there since I first put in my LED lights. Now I finally have a chance to touch things up now. But I did cover it up for a while by masking tape that is painted the same color as the helm :D
