Just a few more spots to cover for your torso peice too :D can't wait to see the next update :D

Great work like usual Soulless hehe :D

thats lookin extra spiffy rondo gives you a nice surface to work with i see never tried it myself but i might have to

The torso is looking great! I hate you... jk :p

Seriously soulless, it's looking fantastic! I hope my torso comes out as good as yours! Sorry for not posting much... been busy. Are you planning on adding the black seal around the neck area?

@Jjack

You should try rondo :D

@Pooper

Yeah I do plan on adding a neck seal. But It may be like a rubber sheet of some sort that's cut down.

Another update. I finally tried working on my helm. Going to end up re doing a lot of things. I sanded some paint off and then worked on my chest. I mainly got just the right breast area until I could not feel my right hand :p

It was weird. My pinky started to tingle and then twitch :p after a couple hours

@Centerside

Thanks :D
Haha you're rubbish :eek:

@Omega7

Thanks for the comment.

The twitching was cuased by too keeping the same hand position. Happens to me too sometimes hehe when sanding wood and stuff.

P.S. I'm not rubish....... :cry: hehe

Another update. I sanded the front part of my chest completely. Then I primered it to see if I missed anything.

Hey Soul, this is an awesome build. I do have one question about the rondo. Would you recommend it also for complex shapes and small parts? I tried to use it on the cheeks of my ODST helmet (the round parts)...it turned out to be a failure. Could this be because rondo isn't really the greatest thing for these round complex (for me they are :cry: ) shapes?
Keep us updated with the awesome build :D

-DD

@DutchDude

Well I wouldn't recommend rondo for small complex shapes. Since either it would destroy the detail of the helmet or just mess up the process. If you are doing this area (which I am guessing), I would do it in sections to preserve the detail in that part of the helmet.

Sorry for double posting but I kinda need to keep it at separate ideas. I finally redid my helmet and added primer and gray gloss :D I still need to add black spray paint to the floating details and then do some battle scars and weathering. I recently went to Radioshack to scope out new LED lights in which I already bought two and just fell in love with them. They are so much brighter than my old ones. Just need to get the other two and It'll be just bomb :D I should be done with my helmet by Sunday or Monday. I also can't wait for my secret package that is coming Monday :D
