Currently working on a halo 3 ODST suitand figured i’d Finally make a proper thread. I’ve finished construction on the chest, right shoulder, and helmet so far. Construction of the left shoulder isn’t far behind.

The colour scheme is pretty cool good sir. Are you painting it this way so that it has interchangeable parts with your usual Marine suit?

of the idea, yeah. Although the shade of green is one I used as a primer on my marine suit vs the base coat to give it more of a pop against the gunmetal grey

Been a spicy second since I updated this thread. During that time I built the second shoulder and an alternate mounting system for the chest piece so I can wear it with my already existing marine vest until I finish construction on my standalone vest. Did a ton of weathering too.

I may or may not have made zero progress on working on this build since may, but with these gifts from across the Rockies from Turbo are gonna change that. Lots of sanding and some stuffing the gauntlets with foam is on the immediate to do list

Not shins because I don't have access to a printer to print the templates, but there's still the gauntlets I got courtesy of TurboCharizard that I finally painted
