Hey Guys, last weeks been
Really busy I only got the armour to a wearing stage two minutes before we had to leave for the Expo. I got to try it all on for the first time at the hotel, surprisingly it all fitted pretty well!
The walk to the con was pretty weird there was no one else in costume around and we were getting some strange looks, crossing the street was kinda exciting since my walking speed was comparable to that of a turtle.
Once we got there it was ******* awesome! we couldn't move five feet without someone asking for a photo
Everyone was really nice!
On the second day we decided to enter a cosplay competition there was a lot of really cool costumes. then....holy **** I won second and my brother Ezio won third:eek
I would have liked to get more done before the Expo I had to use the previously mentioned warped cod, I didn't get all the LEDs I wanted in, just the forearms and helmet, The rubber on the boots was falling to bits. The Visor was duct taped in so that needs some work, The strapping could use some work too right now it takes two people ten minutes to strap it on me, and I really need a weapon..... so yeah lots of stuff I still want to work on
since the biggest thing I've made before this project was scratch build Warhammer miniatures I have learned a lot And have an appreciation of how much work the 405th have put in to their Armour...
