Foam TTG Halo Infinite Chief Build

Started working on the biceps, they’re big, but I’ll be wearing a full padded undersuit underneath that will extend my shoulders a little

Figured I should make this thread to track and show my progress on the new suit. This is the second Spartan suit I’ve made and my first big build using foam pepakura.

I’m using Heroes Workshop files for the build, they’re $20 but I give him business since he does great unfolds and tutorials.
Do those files included the under suit?

So far I’ve got the chest plate done, still needs some filler with foam clay and burnt/layered details, also gonna make some holes for a chest speaker system.
Using my Evakura 4/5 bucket as reference, my XtremeNoob Infinite bucket is about the same size but not cut out yet.

Hey, I just bought the files and found that it doesn't include the abb plate right under the chest plate as circled in the pics. Do you have files for that piece? I just want to know how you did it or if I just didn’t get all of the files. If you do have additional files, please post a link to the place you got them from.

Also, how do you plan on doing the details and elevated part on the chest plate circled in the pics? And, just to be clear, my question about the abb plate still stands. Looks amazing, keep up the good work.

So for the ab plate I had to eyeball and freehand it, I’ll check after work if I have the cutout I made to show you, as for the neck details it’s gonna be a mix of layering craft foam and burning lines with a wood burner

I am absolutely horrible at free handing and I don't want my first build to look bad, so seeing that cutout would help so much, thank you.

I’m gonna start making smaller more frequent updates to help hit that 50 message minimum for regiment. So here’s a dry fitting of what I have of the suit last night.
Once I get things buckled and strapped I can figure out if placement of things like the shoulders and I might even need to put them on a hinge to lift my arms better.
The suit is purposely oversized to look larger while sacrificing mobility, I’ll be wearing 5 inch lifts with a padded undersuit and padding inside the armor pieces, the undersuit will fill the gap between my shoulder and the shoulder armor

So after getting more work done on the forearm, I think I’m unfortunately gonna have to scrap and restart and rescale the shoulders biceps and forearms. They will have foam inserts in the elbow gap but idk do they look too big?

Lookin' good! I'd suggest waiting to remake the shoulder pads until you've made the backpack, that way you can see how the proportions compare. They don't look to far off really.
