Shark, its the Classic Army one, I had a g36 I wanted to convert to the sl9 but it was Classic Army. Thankfully CA came out with one later on and I traded the g36 for it. I'm digging your mp7 paintjob.

Well, I haven't skirmished iwth it, actually, the only gun I have skirmished with was my m4, but thats dead so I haven't gone since I got the g36 and sold it for the sl8. And that was a long time ago :\


But there are people that have some minor complaints that can be fixed, but I would need to find it, and I should, because I would like to upgrade mine.

And i don't like how there is full auto option, kinda made it lamer. But that can be fixed.

No, it's not, for a few reasons.

1.) It's a Socom 16 with a wood stock
2.) Echo1 rebrands other guns, so not all their models (M- series, AK- series, M14 series, etc) do not come from the same manufacturer. This means they are not all of the same quality. Their M14 series, quite frankly, sucks. I've got an EBR and it 's broken twice in the first month of use, I just swapped my TM internals with it for the body now. I've heard of other people having problems with Echo1 M14's too. Buy an AGM if you want to get a cheap one, from what I've seen, they're great.

If I recall, CYMA (despite the fact I don't like them) supposedly makes a really good m14.

Ok I found some snipers that i would like to buy. The reviews are good on both of them so I would like some advice on which to buy and with what accessories. I am relativley new to airsoftin,(owned a pistoal and a shot gun that I can snipe with.)

I think it is, only $20 cheaper. with all the same accessories (I think).


It doesn't shoot as fast, which might be good because I don't want my friends to hate me, but the extra fps of the first gun might be nice.

scope: ? is the one already I listed good for this gun?

Should I get a face mask or just goggles?? one of my friends uses a relativly high fps (400+)

Usually we do back yard wars (would just use shotty) but occasionaly we go to forests/ bushes with hills etc. and airsoft there(would use sniper).

I would probably just shoot targets when I'm not using it in a forest.

Are the siites that I linked to reliable (credit card issues? delivery Issues?)

Alright, lets get started.


One, don't get the sling, thats for an M4a1, it won't work with the sniper.


Two, get a full face mask so you can protect your face--clearly. It will benefit you in the long run.


Three, although normally I would reccomend against getting "medium/low grade" snipers, I guess it's fine if you're just going to be in your backyard, but I have hard that the MK96 is not that good, I reccomend getting the one in the second link.

Four, Vforce makes a good facemask.


Five, don't get .3 BBs, it won't shoot far at all because its not a strong sniper, its a "beginners" one as sort of stated above. Real airsoft snipers will cost you a lot of money. Use .25s, if you must, use .28s at the max.


Six, I would reccomend against the scope, but if you're on a budget go for it. It doesn't seem to be that great but with your setup I guess it would work. It seems kind of mysterious and I personally wouldn't buy it, and would go for something more expensive, but have a name brand.


Seven, Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from China, which includes the gun and the scope, but it seems you're on a budget so that would hopefully suit your needs. If you have other questions, or I missed something, tell me.

I know that these snipers are a little on the cheaper side but I dont really want to spend 300+ dollars on something I might only use in a forest every so often. I chose these snipers because I read through the reviews and the were all very positive. what are some brand names?? how high is "high powered"? I thought 450/460fps + was pretty high. I thought the better the fps the better. could you recommend a sniper that while it is on the 200 dollars and under side and is of pretty good quality(metal good fps.) What kind of name should I look for on a scope?

Cross fire recomended the Mk96 to me and all the reviews on airsoftgi are very good, with an average rating of 4.5 stars or 5 staars out of 5. Could you tell me whats wrong with it??

While I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on this, I want my setup to last a while and be of fairly good quality.
