i know that our super soldier friends can take a TON of shots and such, but as far as physical limits go, what are their end points?
probably, i was being stupid when i made the thread, and could a spartan take a kick from a scarab tank?Carnal knowledge by the Flood.
Shouldn't this be in the Halo Universe forum?

I hate when that happens.
Even if that stayed intact, the rest of his innards would be trying to ram themselvs through the neck of the gel layer, causing more pressure on the brain.

I can't imagine a static impact from a giant mechanical leg generating more velocity than a free-fall from 1,200 miles above an Earth-like planet. Even if terminal velocity is achieved at 90 miles a second, deceleration trauma would be enormous. Mjolnir, even in it's early stages, contains a layer of hydrostatic gel that changes in density, so the armor would handle a Scarab mulekick. Not to mention the addition of energy shields, which can act as a buffer and can withstand physical as well as energy based damage.
150 kicks in the groin, 237 T-bags from a kindergartener, a 540 kick to the face, and hit by ten fully loaded tracter-trailers, and getting banned from xbl and bungie.
I think what a spartan can survive depends a lot on each spartan individually, in First Strike when the spartan team abandon a damaged pelican in midflight the fall from the pelican to the ground kills 4 of them outright and wounds a large amount of the team, the 4 that died may not have been as phisically or mentally strong as the others (altho even the weakest spartan is hard as nails).
As cortanna says the master chief has always been lucky, thats why he can do stupid stunts like surf a covenant bomb through space and then make a perfect landing on the hull of a starship![]()
