Days 6 to 8 – SMG Complete and Armor on the Horizon​

Alright, sorry for the radio silence! I took the weekend to spend some time with family, but I’m back at it. Got right back into printing Sunday night and yesterday, and I’ve officially finished the SOCOM SMG. Super pumped with how it turned out! Just need to get some magnets for the magazine to clip in and stay, as well as a new flat-ended screw for the foregrip!!

At this point, I’ve just got a few grenades and some other small bits left to print. Then it's full steam ahead into the armor pieces. Seeing the weapons come together has been a solid warm-up, and it’s helped me dial in the printer settings before I commit to the big stuff.


I’m also planning to kick off the painting process in the next few days. I’ll keep you all posted with updates (and hopefully some satisfying before-and-afters soon). Really appreciate everyone following along!

Loving the organization for your process. Figuring out time and materials all up front is a nice touch. I may have to do that in the future. Weapons are looking great, and I can't wait to see future posts!

Thank you!! Planning things ahead of time definitely was a good move i think, that way i can plan prints based on the times i'd be at home or work! When i go to work, i can plan an 8 hour print, then get home and grab the print to start a new one for overnight!

And thanks! i'll be sure to post as many pics during the whole process as i can!
