Did I mention I have an Unbuilt Gelgoog 2.0 just Chillin on the shelf along with a Gouf 2.0 and a Deathscythe Ver Ka. Oh and an MG Green Frame, and Zeta Test type A1 MG. Just sittin there till my suit is done.

You know, I've noticed the Katokis, while looking better, don't move as well, and fall apart more often than standard MGs.

Even still, I plan on getting a Zaku R-1A Shin Matsunaga 2.0, Gouf 2.0, and some GMs next year. Maybe, just maybe, MG Unicorn and possibly a Zeta 2.0 and a couple ReZels.

Focus is on the current suits, though.

I may eventually (AFTER GETTING THE REST) get a PG 00 Raiser, just because I love PGs.

I think, for Christmas, I'm getting a Titans MkII Ver2.0, as well, and that brings me to my point: the RX-79[G] is well overdue for some Ver2.0 lovin', as well as a PG kit.

For that matter, why is there no PG GM?

Oh, sweet! That's another one of my faves; the Titans Mk II Gundam. Although, I can't say I've ever seen it in any of the series.

I'm hoping to get my hands on a 1/100 scale RX-79-G Ground Type and Titans Mk II at a local anime store in town, though probably not for Christmas.

More likely I'll buy them myself a little later (been spending enough money lately as it is, lol).

In the Zeta Gundam series, two MK II's were made. Both Black in Color, one however was stolen by the A.E.U.G., The other was kept and used by the Titans Pilot Jerid Messa. The unit that was stolen was painted the more "noble"; Red, White, and Blue Color Scheme.

sorry, I've got the entire UC series. Stadust Memory being my favorite.

Yeah, the Red, White, and Blue was in homage to the nobility of the White Devil, the Gundam that fought in the One Year War. Titans painted a lot of stuff dark blue. (GM Quel come to mind, anyone?)

That brings me to another point: How come there has never been a GM in PG? I mean, it makes so much sense to make the GM. It could use most of Gundam's frame, and it's only the third-most-popular machine in the series!

And there needs to be a GM Sniper Custom in MG. I really, really, really want that visor.

By the by, Zeta is the greatest Gundam anime of all time, but 08th MS is my favorite.

Yeah, but resin's heavy, expensive, and isn't an official PG kit. Plus, all the ressies are disconned.

In other news, I got a MG Ver2.0 RX-178 Gundam Mk.II Titans color, a MG GM Sniper, and a MG RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type with Special Clear Parts. Also, money for paints, but I don't have an air compressor. :/ Guess I'll have to use that money to buy some new Sprue Cutters.

Are you kidding me? I make my own parts at times. No resin kit is ever "Discontinued." to me that is. Someone else just needs to make it. I have an Unbuilt Leo from Japan, along with an Unbuilt Virgo II. Still Debating on whether I should cast them or not. MY wife got me J. Ridden MS-06-R2 2.0 MG. I love her.

Well, yeah, but by that logic, no plastic kit is ever discontinued. I could easily put together an injection-molding machine and Hongli these kits. There'd be a definite loss in quality, though.

Very nice, that Ridden kit. I lust after the Zaku R1A Shin Matsunaga Ver2.0 at the local Hobbytown USA. Oh, how I want that Zaku. $67, though, is out of my price range, at the moment.

In other news, I just finished building Mk.II, and I'm gonna probably spend the rest of the day detailing him. I really wish Bandai included waterslide decals, or at least more dry-transfers. These stickers suck.

Try Gundamstoreandmore.com they just got huge restock and I know shipping is 8 bucks. got my Shin matsu through then for 48.
You can buy Water slide and dry transfer decals online, at the Gundam store.
HobbyTown Usa so rocks the socks! I use their Insta cure glue on my foam build. They showed me how to make a Vaccu-former.
Tamiya Clear coat over the Dry transfer with a light spray. and you wont have to worry about them coming off.

I'm talking about making a hardened mold of the part trees all still together. Thats how I built up my Zaku and GM army a few years ago. That was on mess too.

tatsuhobby.com has very good prices as well. Luckily, after much convincing, my local hobby shop started carrying Gundams (fandmhobbies.com, no online store though). Got the PG Strike Freedom sitting next to me waiting to be built. However, the MG Freedom I got for Xmas must come first. Then I need to repaint the parts on the PG red Frame I just finished building.

The resin kits are cool. I really want the kshatriya resin kit from NeoGrade but its 1/100 and almost $300. The HG one I got is good enough for now.

I need to decide if im going to sit down and model this red fram in 3DS and attempt a pepped costume. Wish I could just find a mesh of him, but the best one out there has a deusch for a creator. "I will release my models under no circumstances, pep, school projects, etc..."

Yeah, well, I happen to be dirt broke, anyway. So, $48 is just as much out of reach as $67. Speaking of, the local Hobbytown is selling 2 MG Exia Repairs at TWICE MSRP! What the hell?! Those're $50 kits, and they're goin' for like $105.

I finished the MkII today, and got some of the decals on, as well as panel lines and some Tamiya Chrome Silver on some inner details. Dressed it up as Unit 03. Looks nice, let me say, but I hate dry-transfers so much. The one for the shield broke apart as I got it on. Hell, I planned on this being Unit 02, but the shoulder decal shattered. While I appreciate that other companies sell waterslide decals, they're expensive and go out of manufacture before Bandai stops making the kit they go with. For the life of me, I can't find Ground Gundam decals.

And, as far as casting resin from molds of the sprues, I really don't like the way resin acts when you cut it, and it requires paint. I mean, like I said, I could get together some materials and machinery for a few hundred dollars, and start injection molding these kits. It'd be like Hongli. Quality would be awful, though. And, in any case, it sucks support from Bandai. And, honestly, I want Bandai to keep putting even more money into Gundam, and produce better kits, and, better anime, through Sunrise.

You know, After Century does not have enough love.

I got my paint scheme Idea from a Reckless series Sazabi from Tatsu, I like how they get suits at their actual release. But their shipping charges suck. 8 buck per kit! Gundam store the shippin is mainly 8 bucks per order, not per kit.

Schiz I had the same problem with my Hobbytown. and I brought in a a list of prices for the suits they have. They were surprised at how off they were. The Strike IWSP I bought, They had it at 90 but I showed them the online prices and it was quickly dropped to 45$. Hobbytown's Pricing is pretty screwed up. You just have to show them it's more profitable to lower them. Mine did, they're thinking of giving me a job becuase everytime I go in I check their prices and everything is off. Since I've been doing that, their sales have been going up in their MS section. They've even expanded it and have been ordering more series.

I don't sell my Resins dilberately. Only to specific friends and of kits that are no longer produced. And no Ac does need more love, especially in the Mass Produced units.

You know what, I'm going to start showing my MS pics on here too. I've got some great ones. Anybody else want to do the same, you go right ahead.

Ihave on to start: Sazabi!

Well, see, when I went in, the first time, one Exia was $70, one was $100. I told a guy, offhand, about it, while discussing the RG. Next I went, both were $105. What a rip. -_- Even HobbyLink Japan's cheaper, SHIPPED! While the Arlington store's expansion means they've been bringing in more Gunpla, especially new MGs (Red and Blue Frame Second Rev.), they haven't done much with it, and they're overcharging. If I didn't know the manager was an ass, I'd show him a list of prices. I'd probably have better luck if Taylor still worked there. Maybe Phil can help. I dunno. It also doesn't help that since the Anime Store closed, the Gunpla building community has moved to other venues for their models, completely skipping the local HT-USA. Maybe the Colleyville or Dallas stores? I just don't know...

You know, I'd settle for a MG X or XX. Really, the HG isn't fulfilling my desire. We just got V Gundam, and it looks like V2's on the way, so maybe, juuuust maybe.

Oh, and, Unit 03:

(PG Strike in the background is half-naked. Since the Aile pack broke, his hips have been too loose for good poses. I'm placeholding right now, until I can fund making him into a PS-down diorama)

I just figured out where you got your Blanks to work with for your painted pictures, duh, I'm dumb!

MS-06-R2 Johnny Ridden Zaku II 2.0 HAS ARRIVED! AHA!

OH I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place! I have some great model kits to build! But I want to Finish my Armor! What do I do!?

Depends on how much work you wanna put into your kits. If you just wanna build 'em and pose 'em, go ahead and do one. If you wanna do more, save it till you have more armor done. That's how I did it.

And, where do you think I get my lineart?

Scanned MG manual Photos. I think you said that earlier on. And yes I like puttin alot of detail into my kits so I'll probably hold off for a while.

No, I get it from a website that hosts cleaned, scanned MG lineart. Cleaning those buggers takes too long, and that's why I don't have more, better, bigger lineart. :p

Awesome! I just love the look of the Mk II's. How tall is that sucker?

But yeah, that lineart you use for your painted/customized pics is nice and clean. I'd agree with that "taken right out of the manual" comment.

All I've got to show for Gundam stuff right now is a SD Mk II, lol.

Really got to get around to grabbing up both a 1/100 scale RX-79-G Ground Type and 1/100 scale Titans Mk II.

EDIT: The Blue Destiny Gundam is also another design I find appealing. Not surprising, as it has many of the same characteristics as the RX-79-G Ground Type. The Heavy and Full Armor Gundams are pretty kewl designs too, imho.
