The way the plastic rippled could also be a sign that your frame just needs better grip on the plastic and not just better suction from the platen. What's your current method for holding the sheeting?

It's not good. And I'd agree I need to devise a way of clamping the plastic within the frame that's much sturdier. Haven't been able to locate any latches that would do the trick yet... I may settle for bolting together.
 
I think I found a paint colour! HUZZAH, iridescent purple/black.

My second try at bicep pieces I just pulled of the print a few minutes ago! Feel like they fit great. They sure look great. I plan to sand them down tomorrow.

Oh, bought a CR-10 hahaha, I just started printing the calf piece. Praying it fits the first time like most of the other armor.

Annnnd finally found some latches to clamp the new vacuum frame together, but I haven't gotten around to mounting them!

Not much else going on. Been looking for a paint to use since last update. Sanding and priming here and there. Next update I have to have some things base painted!!! See you then.
