Maaan, that is probably the best scratch build I've even seen. It certainly reminds me of CPU64's build. The legs are looking spectacular! Do I spy Mary?

I've made the right boot, now I have to make the left one. the only parts after that are the plates on the hands.

When I'm finished with the cardboard I start slapping on the Shellshock (2 component plastic) and probably start working on the undersuit, simultaneous, cos you have to wait on the shell shock to harden and while I'll wait I'll probably start working on that.

second boot done. As you can see the boots are in 3 parts, this is because I don't want to permanently attach the armor to the boots and this way I can strap them to the boots. The heel part and the nose part are gonna be attached with foam covered latex so you can't see the original boots and it looks like the under armor that's flexible.

thanks peeps ^^

The parts will be partly filled with some PU-foam for extra strenght and than I will use bondo to fix some areas and to finish it with a awesome paint job. It's probably gonna be red with some weathering. I'am not gonna fibreglass it, It's just to expensive where I live, it's not as easy to get as like in america where you go to wallmart and buy it for a few bucks. You can only get it at special stores where it's very expensive.

(arms coming probably next week, I have made a start on the upper arms)

Heej

I live in holland too. For resin im using stuff called Albastine. This brand also makis hardner, bondo, and fiberglass. I just buy it at the praxis

I know Albestine, anyways if you buy that stuff at the Praxis it's more expensive then usual. If you buy it at a store who is specialised in stuff like fibreglass and resin it's cheaper and if you buy in bulk it's even more cheaper.

I prefer Shell-shock from Smooth-on and not fibreglass with resin.

THat is one of the most beautiful scratchbuilds I've ever seen. We certainly need more injinuity here now that PEPs consumed everything.

Currently busy coating/sanding the parts, I also did a bit of the undersuit, it's gonna be latexed black.

It's a impression of what it's gonna look like ^^

Holy shiznit, dude! :eek

That's abso-freakin-lutely awesome work you've done with the cardboard there. That's quite some uber-detail. Like someone else here mentioned on a previous page, it reminds me of CPU's build. Can't wait to see this finished :D

Btw, have you started on the helmet yet? :unsure

thanks and you can see the helmet in page 2 of this thread. I finished building the cardboard base of every hard armor part, currently I'm coating it and I started on making the undersuit.
