Was wandering when that sanding was going to start, looks good though man. Now hurry it up been want for like 3 months now
Lol yea I put that part off pretty hard im letting the foam clay cure for a week just to be sure and next week things should be getting plastidipped and mounted. Didnt know anyone was following that hard lol sorry to have kept you waiting.

We have run out of foam clay so the thighs will have to wait a little bit a resupply is on its way I think around Christmas time. Besides that I'm going to wait a week then sand everything you see here down. Then dremel some details and should be good to mount and plastidip.

So did some testing with the sanding. Foam clay vs no foam clay. And I think the foam clay wins out for true smooth but in the wet picture you can see I almost got rid of the seam no foam clay on the front face.

So first real progress in a little while that wasn't sanding. I mounted all the plates. Just waiting on more flex seal to seal it. Then when the fabric and straps come in, do the shoulder straps.

More sealing updates. Just need to finish the thighs and shins belt buckle and cod piece. I forgot to hit the but plate with the heat gun after new cuts were made hoping it still works. Have 2 more cans coming in soon.

Low quality shiny shin pics but almost done. Just need a another coat or 2 on some things and then painting. That is except the thighs..... still haven't finished fabricating the inner thigh yet lol. better pics to come later. garage lighting is worthless. roomates started to notice the smell or the leak seal. inner thighs being done now soon the whole foam portion will be sealed.

Still looking good, by the way, how did you scale your thighs? I keep messing up somehow on the scale and yours looks like a good fit.
Well I'm using pepakura and not armor smith for my scaling and I had good luck with the shins so I shot for a 15" height for the thighs. Got lucky on the first try. As for the inner thigh I scaled it up about an inch and a half and cut and glued that together and held it up to the inside of the outline where its supposed to go and just trimmed it down as needed

This is how much I had to trim off each side. Also I imagine if the bottom hole is to big cut a portion out as necessary to make it to size. And trim the inner thigh as needed tell it all fits how you need it. To be honest I feel they come up a little to high but seems to look good so I'm rolling with it.

Thank you, I didn't think about upscaling the inner thigh!
