Shout out to ODSTWolf1013 for helping me with a piece here and there. To TurboCharizard for pointing out details i would have never noticed before and for the bracers, and another piece working on in the background. Also To CrimsonViper97 PaiganBoi for their input and watching their builds take shape to help me with along the way. Should check out their current builds if you have not. Also to Harri51 and Rock Lobbster for helping me with paint and the CQB shoulder file. Without yall would not have made it this far this quick thanks again.

The 2nd inner thigh has finally been completed. Once these are finished and painted. The armor will be complete minus the bucket. More undersuit and details updates will follow. (And yes I know the edges of this one are rough, ran out of 6mm foam to redo some mistakes so had to rip and reglue. Dremel and foam clay will have it right as rain.)

Crappy suit up pic. Everyone else was sleeping and I was in the basement sorry for the bad lighting. Also no belt in the pic stuff isn't mounted yet. But the thighs are done. Which the arrival of the foam clay we can finish those after they cure for a day or two. Temp pending. Basement gets cold when it's below zero lol. But they just need sanded sealed and painted. Almsoy there

It's a day late due to some celebration shenanigans but here is the first test fit/suit up of the bPuild. Just some bits and bobs left to make for it. Then just undersuit and rigging. I should have the ruck done and mounted in the next week or two. And then last is the bucket. And onto props. Also we can slav squat!

love the drip!!
Looks absolutely awesome!
Only thing I'd suggest is maybe either bringing the shoulder pads upwards, or lowering the profile of the upper chest - it seems to hide a lot of your natural shoulder line and looks a bit overly bulky to me

Otherwise the kit is fantastic!! Can't wait to see it all finished!

unfortunately this version is way to far forward for such adjustments, but i have learned a massive amount about the anatomy of an odst and the upgrades in the future will do better to accurately reflect the vest with plates on it over a bulky flak. the base chest actually took 3 tries to get this close lol. but thats a future project with a-lot more fabric for the under suit. alot like viking props. and thanks your ONI ODST is pretty awesome. and personal preference i like to err on the side of bulky. ive been kicking around the idea of adding a reach collar to this one.

The suit up looks great! What iteration of the ODST uses that larger left side shoulder bell? I may have missed that detail somewhere in the build. Purely out of curiosity!

Thank you, and are you referring to the CQB shoulder? It was worn by Micheal Crespo in Halo 3:ODST, it's designed to be an uparmored shoulder for close quarters combat. And mickey is the team's demo expert. Also why he has the modified helmet. But eventually I will have the uparmoured helmet Dutch wears.

That's it! I knew I seen that before I just wasn't sure where. Nice bro! I really love all the variations of the ODSTs throughout the canon so there's tons of options when assembling a kit.

Making some progress on the ruck fianly. Need life to calm down so I can finish this build lol. The ruck is mostly sanded and ready for filler primer a couple parts need touch ups here and there and still need to do the Handles. Hoping to have it glued and filler primered before next week and painted and hopefully mounted next week. Also got some thermal bottoms again so can finish the undersuit and get the thighs mounted with velcro. Just need to order some more ripstop to do the shoulder straps on the ruck. Also started the m73, got the buttstock printed.

that is a great looking backpack man. any idea how many snacks it can fit?
The ruler behind it is 46 cm long so we can get some sandwiches, chips and perhaps water if I get the mounting good. Size isn't an issue lol but weight might be. Might be limited to grebola bars and such. But lo g story short shouldn't have to buy food at the con, will tie us over tell we can get to a restaurant or pub outside the con lol
