Props Halo MA5D BoomCo Conversion

Hi everyone! Glad to be a member of the 405th Figured I’d make my first contribution by showing my first Halo prop, a BoomCo MA5D Assault Rifle repainted to represent a combination of the Halo 3 and Halo 4 versions of the AR.

Dude I’ve been lookin for someone who painted up their boomco and was about to post a thread til I saw this. Very dope. Did you just go with Gray and silver?

Dude I’ve been lookin for someone who painted up their boomco and was about to post a thread til I saw this. Very dope. Did you just go with Gray and silver?

Thanks mate! I used two shades of metallic grey Rustoleum spraypaint for the base (dark for base, light for top portion), black enamel for the front part that the handle leads back to.

After that, licorice acrylic wash over the whole base followed by light sanding and silver drybrush for the lighter edges.
