Your not the only one bro! There's been at least 3-5 different threads saying Vrogy hasn't contacted them...given them the items they needed. etc.. Sorry to hear about what happened.

One thing to keep in mind that is very important is MAKE SURE HAIR IN REGULATION. it may just be me since i'm in ROTC, but if hair is not in military regulation then it will but the crap out of me. In case yo don't know i'll post what regulation is for males and females.
Male: hair can not touch ears, hair can not interfere with cover (hat), hair can not touch collar
Female: hair can not interfere with cover (hat), hair can not touch collar, hair must be ether cut short or in bun, if in bun hair must be jelled back.

Wow I am really looking forward to this thanks for the head shots, they really fit hat I thought they would be like. Will "Cortana" be cutting her hair to match actual game cortana?

These are older but, they were taken just a week or two ago. Enjoy, I still haven't gotten the Visor from TJ, but he said it's fine, the humidity we're having here messing with his glue though. Thats the only reason the Copper Visor is taking so long.
I finished filling in the face sinceI took these and gave it a more rounded appearance. I'll have to hand cut the vents in... not looking forward to that since I already primed it... but oh well.
I'm replacing the burnt out switch with a water proof one, since the cheaper burnt out while painting.

Hey guys and gals,
Sorry for not replying- for some reason this thread only notifies me at random times when a reply comes in. Hence, I had no idea a 9th page was built out!
@chitwood- we'll make sure they have regulation hair length, although it will be difficult for some of the flashback scenes with kids (want to base it off acting skills rather than haircuts, and hope they will be willing to oblige).
@Frocklife- you've got a PM coming. That's some great concept art!
@Doden- Nicole will be wearing a wig for the Cortana part so she doesn't have to sacrifice her hair style
@Jester- keep up the great work! It's looking awesome!

hey guys I'm pretty much done with the first set of trooper armor i just need to add to some decorative straps and and some extra straps to help the shoulders stay up on the arm and yes I know flip flops look stupid with halo armor. I will have a short test film for the armor done by the end of the week. let me know what you think.

Lex, you did a hell of a lot better than I would have on those forearms.
Heres an Update on the Helms.
Did up some Metal look a day or two ago.
After Applying the Mustard effect, thanks to Sean Thorsson.
Paints Are: Tamiya Olive Drab 2, Tamiya Metal Black (Outer layer), Tamiya Gunmetal (inner Layer). I used spray cans.
After Wipe off
Enjoy folks, more on the way.

I was going to apply a layer of clear resin on the outside for strength, the test for the didn't go so well.
So I'm going with a flat clear coat.

Helmet is done fellas. It just needs to be black washed to match the environment it was shot in.
The visor is double sealed and lined. Fan is installed properly with the flow on the visor, no switch so it's a direct to battery link. I made the panels easily accessed with velcro buttons inside the liner. Slight details can be made with an effects artist. I also had a mishap with the soldering iron... I was able to turn it into a slight impact spot... the chief is the lucky one right?
Had to leave this open for ventalation.

definitely if you want a good pitch the first halo book has to be your resource. Others are definitely incorporating it in their ideas so i m not the only one that agrees on the importance of the early life of 117. you said a montage, the first thing i was thinking was the progression of the spartan, so you can grab kid shots from the 300 movie and convert it into the modern one like the hitman training vid. John (masterchief) also tries to escape like the children in the hitman movie. This will at least give you the snse that this training is hell, and it was for these kids. They learned from the original spartans and became ruthless, young men and women trained small special force teams. which the display of their training can be left up to you, but in the end have a grown 117; in his late teen or early 20s looking at the new spartan armor Halsey is about to give him. Fin cuz after that is the 117 armor test and that is like the best part of the book. the first fusion of a.i. and the new spartan.

Currently, my grunt head sculpt is nearly done. I'm just going to have to finish it and mold it, Then i can sell you a cast. Ofcourse unpainted because i don't know what you want to do with it. And i'll allow you to mold it, as long as it is because you are using animatronic techniques.
