Question: When it says something like "get your recon armor when you pick up your preordered copy" or something along the lines of that... Does it mean that to get all the special armor stuff you literally have to "pick it up?" Or can you still get it shipped to your house and recieve all of the armor goodies?

And that armor from gamestop looks cool!... anyone know if any other places are offering similiar offers with the same or different armor included?!

The recon helmet code will come packaged with the game if you preorder, whether it's online or in-store. Same goes for the Gamestop exclusive piece. Don't know of any other armor deals, I believe that one for the chest piece is GS only.

Preordered mine a while ago, and yes its Legendary. lol. Unfortunately I'm getting mine at Best Buy... No exclusive grenade belt.

I went to gamestop and he said that the Recon with preorder pickup is a widespread rumor right now and the only way to garuntee (sorry for bad spelling) it is to get the legendary edition.

Anyway, pre-ordered mine at GameStop. Cant wait for Reach. Legendary too.
The strangest thing is... My best friend loves Halo, has been with me in the fight from the begining. But he isnt getting the legendary (thats not the strange part, im just adding that.) But his brother, who only recently began playing halo is getting the legendary. I asked him why, and he replies with "You get to be a bungie member" i said "What? no you dont."
He then tells me how bungie have flaming helmets so that makes you a bungie memeber.

As for Recon helmet being Legendary-only, the Gamestop site lists it as a bonus for all 3 editions, so I don't know what's up there, then.

You apparantly get the Recon helmet for picking it up/buying it on release day if you live the in US, or if you live outside of the US, you need to pre-order it.

In the midnight release you get a code that gives you recon, but that code is only valid for 2 hours, so first thing you do when you get home is activate that goddamn code, or you will lose recon FOREVER!!!

I asked my dad to Pre-order the normal game from GameStop.com, he liked the limited ED more so he ordered that one, I'm still paying though :/ (But with money my mom owes me and 2 month's allowance XD)

I'm also calling Bull, You get a CODE only on release day(Or Pre-Order) to unlock it. The only time limit is to get the code Otherwise the world would explode for being so retarded.
