Placeholder for details.

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET PURCHASED A PASS FOR ANY SHOW AND YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK FOR THE 405TH, YOU WILL QUALIFY FOR A FREE PASS - MORE DETAILS SOON.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED A PASS BUT WANT TO WORK FOR THE 405TH AND QUALIFY FOR A FREE ONE, WE CAN LIKELY SORT THAT OUT FOR YOU. PLEASE LET YOUR RCO KNOW. IF YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY BELONG TO A REGIMENT, REACH OUT TO THE REGIMENT STAFF IN YOUR AREA AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND LET THEM KNOW YOU WILL BE ATTENDING. IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING EVENTS OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME REGIMENT, PLEASE LET YOUR HOME RCO KNOW. THEY WILL GET YOU ON THE CORRECT LIST.

However, please keep in mind, that if you purchased a pass to do something specific (ie: get the loot bag with the VIP pass etc.) your free Exhibitor badge will NOT get you those items. Certainly you can still work for the 405th (photobooth, information etc.) but you'll want to keep your pass that you paid for.

EDIT TO ADD IN RULES FOR VOLUNTEERING - APRIL 8, 2019

1. To qualify for an exhibitor badge, you are required to sign up and work 1 shift (2 hours) per day you will be attending. We highly encourage everyone to do more than that, but we are only requiring 2 hours per day. Yes, you can do all of your shifts in 1 day if you so wish. If you are only attending 1 day you are only required to do 1 shift.

2. Your Exhibitor Badge will get you early access to the convention, HOWEVER, this is not intended to give you a leg up on everyone else to get in line early etc. It is intended to get you in early enough for a shift first thing. You are of course welcome to come in early even if you don't have a shift but please do not abuse the privilege of having this badge.

3. Your Exhibitor Badge will NOT get you the same swag as a VIP badge etc. so if you have purchased a VIP badge for that purpose, do not exchange it for an Exhibitor Badge. You are still welcome to sign up for an Exhibitor Badge. IF YOU HAVE A REGULAR BADGE AND YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER - PLEASE MESSAGE FANGS. WE MAY BE ABLE TO GET THAT BADGE REFUNDED.

4. If you would like an Exhibitor Badge and are NOT a member of a Regiment - please contact the RCO/RXO/RMO of your home Regiment and let them know you would like to be added to their list (see above for full list of staff). They will help you out with what you need to become a full member.

5. There are 4 areas to staff within the Fan area - Information Booth, Grunt Sticky Bomb Toss, Flags Photo Op and Backdrop Photo Op.

6. The most important area to staff is the Information booth so please when signing up try and fill the Person 1 slot for all times for the Information Booth and all areas after that. There will be 2 spots for each of the 4 areas per 2 hour shift.

7. The next most important area to staff is the Grunt Sticky Bomb Toss. Once the Information Person 1 slot is filled, the Person 1 slot for the Toss can be filled. At the beginning of your shift you will either be handed the Sticky Bombs from the person before you or you will retrieve them from the Booth. At the end of the shift you will either hand them directly to the next person or you'll secure them in the booth. This is very important or they will walk away quickly. Don't assume that the next person will show up soon or that they know they are sitting there.

8. The photo op areas need to be manned by those in a Halo costume. Make sure that your costume is in good repair and complete. You do NOT need to be deployed but if you can be, please apply for deployment as soon as possible. If you are not deployed, please talk to your RMO.

9. If you are only able to sign up for a specific shift at a specific time and it is already filled, please talk to FANGS. We'll see what we can sort out. But please try to be as flexible as possible and help get the booth covered.

10. When doing a shift at either the Information Booth or the Sticky Bomb Toss - you do not need to be in costume. It is preferable that you are in something with the 405th logo. However, if that isn't possible, please do your best to be in something presentable. You are the face of the 405th so please help us put our best foot forward. If you are in costume for either of these shifts - please make sure that you do not have a helmet on. People need to be able to communicate with you easily.

11. Please watch your language and behaviour. Again, you are the face of the 405th. No swearing, no pointing of weapons at people and for the love of glob NO TEABAGGING. Never, ever, ever. If someone asks for you to do so in a photo, tell them you cannot. I don't care if you tell them the person in charge is a no fun, big meanie.

12. Please arrive for your shift a few minutes before it starts. Please respect your fellow members by not forgetting to show up. If you are in costume for your shift, you need to be in costume BEFORE the start of your shift. Please do not arrive on time and then leave to change.

13. We will have members of our sister groups with us at times - UNSC Capitol, Anvil Station, Michigan Mistfits etc. have all been contacted and we are in the process of getting them to join in. They are more than welcome to also promote their own groups but they will be helping us out as well. Be kind! There is room for all of us in the Halo sandbox. This event has been created by 343i to promote the greater community that we are all part of. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF ONE OF THESE SISTER GROUPS, PLEASE LET YOUR COMMANDING OFFICER KNOW OF YOUR INTENTION TO ATTEND SO THEY CAN ENSURE TO GET YOUR NAME ON THE BADGE LIST. If you are a member of one of these groups AND the 405th, please only sign up with one group.

14. If you have any issues while on site, please speak to a 405th Staff member who will be highlighted on the sign up sheets. If you are unable to speak to that person, please message FANGS either on here by PM, or on Facebook via PM. If something happens that you are not happy about, do not deal with it on site. We will deal with it together outside of the public eye. If it is something involving a member of the public, please let the 405th Staff member know and/or a member of the Show Staff. You do not need to put up with any sort of bad behaviour.

15. Most importantly HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!! Share your 405th pride. Take time to learn about the other Halo groups in the area. Show the world how great the 405th is!

Make sure everyone to let your RCO or other Regiment Staff member know. I'm going to edit the first post so that everyone knows who to go to. Please always report to YOUR RCO/Reg Staff even if it's an event in another Regiment that you plan on going to. They will make sure you get on the right list. As well, if you do NOT belong to a Regiment yet, this is the perfect time to reach out to the Regiment Staff for your area and let them know you are planning on attending.

How do i qualify for the one in Anaheim?

To qualify you just have to be in a Regiment and agree to help the 405th while there. What you'll be doing is underdetermined at this point, but we want you to enjoy the event too so you will not be stuck in one place and will most likely have plenty of free time.

Shall I put you down for a pass?

Actually you DO NOT have to be a part of a Regiment as I said in the first post. I don't want people to think that if they aren't yet in a Regiment that they are out of luck. You do, however, need to reach out to the command staff of the area you live in so they can get you on the list. They can also let you know how to join up with the Regiment if you wish to do so.
