im still goin to be on bungies site at 7am eastern time to see if anything updates cause who knows maybe more clues would be given out

i hate but love to say it. but maybe it is tru that they broke away from microsoft...it would give them an opp. to do more and branch out to more and thats why this all did actually happen or maybe it was a feud i guess you could say between GOW and something bungie was to reveal

It's obvious that Bungie is pissed that their announcement was stopped dead in its tracks. Hopefully the hints will continue and we won't have to wait until September.

also did you factor in leap years? this will make a slight difference... especially after 544 years there is 136 leap years. so that is 136 less days of your final date you figured out?

actually no i didnt, if you can find out exactly how many leap year days w/e it would be are in there and can subtract it you can do that math, i kinda just got lucky and got about i think it was 20 days within range of a HEUGE date lol id do it butim basically shot

im thinking the count day is somewhere around early to mid aug. i'm leaning more towards aug. 2-5 or something 2553.... add 20 hr. to whenever you took that screen shot and the time should be pretty close....

im not to worried about rechecking all my math but... it should be pretty close.

and halopedia is saying the war ended/john and Cortana were declared dead on mar. 2 2553.... so for them to be floating around from then to August 2553 isn't to far fetch... so maybe the countdown is for when cortana wakes playboy up because something is going to go down.

i think it would be sweet if the remaining Spartans (haven't finished the books/ i was told there were a few left) went on a hunt for john and Cortana... that would be tight so during co-op you wouldn't have to play as some stupid elite, you could be a group of Spartans.... would totally rule.
