the message was from Harold Ryan they said swap l wit r and take out r and d and you have HALO and is last name is 4 letters so they Said Halo 4 but to me i think its just coincidental.

Update: we're getting a lot of mail from people who are speculating that this is a stunt (to build excitement for an announcement tomorrow), or that Bungie.net got hacked - I can confirm, after speaking to more than one Bungie spokesperson, that this is no stunt, no joke. This is real, and they're as unhappy about it as we are.

My final conclusion of the night lies as follows...

Bungie was originally going to announce something big at E3.

MS pulled the plug on the announcement for w/e reason.

Bungie became upset, and started dropping us clues to be patient and wait.

We will eventually find out what is going to release. Hopefully not, but maybe even in september.
