Noble Six Build Halo Reach

Hi All!

My name is Will, I am new to the 405th. I've been costuming about ten years now and since I have completed a Mandalorian and Ursine Armor of Geralt of Rivia, I want to now costume a project that I have dreamed about since I played Halo Reach in 2010 for the first time. I'm going to be building my own variant of Noble Six and I plan on 3D Printing a majority of this project via the Noble Six Armor Files that I have on my computer. I have already printed the bracers and have posted a picture of them below. I do have a few questions though for you all that I am in pre production of this costume which is probably going to commence when I finish a Darth Revan project I am shooting for a Halloween release....also going to be replacing my CR10printer with a bigger printer that will allow me to print much bigger items. At any rate, here are some questions, would really appreciate some insight.

1.) For the undersuit, is there a link to a vendor that does Noble Six in particular or is there a General Suit as Google AI tells me that morph suits are most commonly used. Hoping to skip this part and out source it (Sorry, going to be printing A LOT and just trying to maximize my time management.)

2.) For fitting, I was planning on using industrial strength velcro with a combination of elastic straps and I was thinking about even using some foam in those bracers as they came with plenty of breathing room for my arms, thus probably the rest of the files are going to be JUST my size. Would appreciate some advice from the pros on how you all attach armor via elastic straps too.

3.) For the boots, do you all use crocs or buy a pair of "throwaway" boots and just fit the pieces around them as such.

I'm sure that this post will be the start of something great, thanks for your attention in this matter and I am looking forward to hearing from you all.

1. There is not a currently a vendor of ready made Reach Style Undersuits.
Here is the "What's Your Undersuit?" Thread where you can get an idea of what others have used:

And here is N8TEBB 's UnderSuit Resources Round Up, a bunch of links to how folks have made their own Undersuits:

My main inspiration was Jerverant's under suit in this build thread:

But I also did a lot of research before settling on this method:

2. Here is our Strapping Tutorial:

3. A pair of "Donor" shoes or bots is the most popular choice. You are going to be on your feet a lot in your costume, so if possible you want to find a pair of decently comfortable boots to sacrifice if you go that route. Other folks, myself included, do more like "boot covers," where the armor is not enclosed, usually open on the bottom, that sit on top of your shoes, allowing you to have options, and are secured under the boot or shoe with straps.
