So im a first time cosplayer to this degree and i wanted to ask, for ease of creation and durability what would be considered the best? The Sean Bradly kit is the one i've had my eye on and wish to make, simple colors and such as well (art by me below) and plan to only do colors on the helmet and chest / shoulders. If i did anything wrong post wise let me know! i've met a bunch of cool people here and do value the advice i've been getting, thank you!!

I got a Sean Bradley kit for almost 3 years and its pretty durable, I recommend a different chest piece maybe find someone 3d printing one somewhere, his chest is like really wide also the suit is more or less scaled for 5’9” to like 6”2 peeps, but it is very durable

Well do you think a little 5'5ft persons such as my self would have a issue with it?

Hmmm well maybe, the thighs and shins might be a little tall on you and you will probably have to trim it past the trim point into some of the details, hmmm want a picture of it on a 6’1” mannequin?

While vacform definitely has its benefits in ease of finishing, some flex, lighter weight, etc. I agree scalability might be a big issue for you there if it's modeled around a 6ish foot person- you might be better off seeing if you could get someone to 3d print parts scaled better to your frame, I'd recon it'd be easier that way since they'd be one offs done in scale and while they'd need more finishing you'd be able to have them sized to be optimal for look, comfort, and just movability in general.

Howdy there! Always Glad to see another ODST in the works! So theres two real options I'd recommend for this,

For Ease of Making, 3D Printing is probably the easiest way to go in my opinion. You'll be able to scale everything down to what you'll need for armor, and not have to worry about it. Now, each file set has it's advantages and disadvantages, so I'd recommend looking into them before buying the cheapest one.

For the most Durability for your armor, I would recommend EVA Foam? Its a bit more difficult to make, but its way more durable. You'll still be able to scale everything down with this too. I'll link a video of N8TEBB (The red and white spartan in the video below) in his armor diving onto the ground below (Something I wouldnt dare to do in my printed suit).

Here's a bunch of Tutorials I'd recommend looking through that go over both 3D printing and Foam.
