Ah yes my fellow ODST fans it's been a bit since I've been able to model the corrections to the ODST project. As noted above, life, work, side-projects, relationships and armor are what I'm juggling, soooooooooo now that work was fianlly quiet, I was able to make some better, pepakura friendly updates with the help of the talented Ruze789's immaculate hand drawn Orthographic blueprints and 1manbattalion's keen ODST eye and pics Per usual, ignore the seams, those will be gone
So first up is the gauntlet. The overall shapes was too jacked up and I knew it was wrong , and thanks to my teammates, they were able to help me out. Working on something this hard and this closely can sometimes fry the noggin.
The tiny nooks and ridges at the top and base have NOT been included as they are NOT Pepakura friendly, and I feel the details can be easily added with Bondo and some small cardboard layering. Aside from fixing a slight Boolean problem(FS If you read this I may be PM'ing you soon) this section is about done.
On to the shoulder, which was also off, and again with the help of the team, I was able to reshape it into something a lot more accurate. I have one or two things to even up, then this will be welded up and ready for the next stage.
The torso is next and final on the list of corrections I will be making, and I think that may wrap up the 3D end of the ODST project So please remain patient as you all have been And thanks for all the support

I know that it will all be worth the wait! The wait actually give me time to do another things (which I should be doing away!) maintaining a relationship then straining it again by buying Republic Commando Armor (I was abit drunk when I did that, Damn ebay!), and I'm make it Spartan armor using all the HD models I can find with Torso from MLC.
Anyhow, Just saying that people that can't wait should just do other stuff while they wait.

WEll you guys will have some time I don't this build will be any where near as difficult as the MC armor. Aside from the helmet, perhaps you could wrap this up in a few weekends.

Just take your time with the program Thanks for the kind words and encouragement The models look amazing! And you will be releasing these on the forumz? If so count me in! Ive always wanted to make an ODST. I got half way through finnishing my halo2 suit...Then gave up because I saw how legendary the halo 3 ODST's were. And is it true that NZ-TK is making a new ODST helmet? But great work on these models they look superb.

@ smilie: Of course sir I fancy a set of WETA ODST I'm not sure if NZ is redoing the helmet. We've both been so busy lately, so I'm not sure what his schedule is like. My goal initially was to release the entire pack of armor at one time. An nice idea, though I'm not sure at this point if it will be ideal.

One at a time is OK with me it would take a week to mold a pice so one at a time we and others could start a pace as you 3D types are still working on the next part. NO rush throw just saying thats all take your time and all. Just can't hold out that much longer...

The original is being reworked by ruze, and has been made far more user friendly, I will be releasing a completely remodeled one at some stage though as there are some details I'd like to address. Consider all the PDO's Ive released so far as V1.0's, the V2.0's will come soon. I'm new to modeling for pepakura and, I'm the first to admit I don't always get it right the first time round. Sure they look the part but, do they really need to be so damned difficult to fold? Thats what I want to focus on, I want my PDO's to be more like Squirls, damn that guy can make a slick PDO

Excellent work SKG. I have spotted a few things that aren't exactly accurate to the WETA like the elbow, the squareness of the forearm, and the forearm detail though I'm sure you've spotted them long ago. I can't wait to see it all finalized.
As for NZ and the bucket, I also can't wait.
