wow, just stumbled upon this thread and wow. your work is unbelievable. So authentic looking, amazing paint jobs too!
Btw, are the 3 spartans with light blue, pink, and dark pink suits from the convention pictures on 405th? I've seen a couple pics of them around on the interwebz but havent seen them on 405th lol.

I plan on doing a white bodied spartan so would u recommend using the black foam then painting white or the white foam and painting all the secondary colors on? How did u put your body on? Did u cut it or something? Lastly, ur visor i plan on doing the EVA and thinking about doing the vacuuming method, how did you tent your visor?

I appreciate any help you can give and you build is no doubt my favorite of all the ones ive seen

When it comes to the color of the foam vs the White armor. The foam color wont matter, because youll have to plasti dip the foam, and plasti dip is black. The foam I used is mini cel. Its a foam rubber. It stretch over my body. no need for clips. For the visor I tinted it using a spray paint call night shade. Its the same tint people use on there head and tail lights. You can buy it at pep boys, auto zone

Some things I have been working on.

So far the turret gun is about 8lb and 3 1/2 feet long. It wired to light up and flicker when trigger is pulled with firing sound FX

The AR is also wired to fire just like the Turret Gun. Its about 2 feet 10 inches, and about 4lbs. The counter also lights up.

Booth the helmets and the weapon systems are looking great. The lighting on the helmets looks great too, but with it on I can't get a good look at the paint on them.
