Hi guys, I return of a 1 year inactivity

my first build was this super cool Halo Marine

this Marine was "destroyed" when I moved to another apartment, Only was saved the helmet.
so, right now Im making a Classic Mark VII but with a small twist

this is my concept of armor, Yes a Buzz Lightyear Spartan, I just find out that here we have the files of the rest of the Mark VII (biceps, shoulders, forearms, thighs and boots) soo, Im going to use those instead (thank you so much all the wonderful designers we have here in this forum)

soo, right now I have the chest, knees and hands printed

Im rushing all the printing, I want it "finished" for a convention I have next month

I have all of this printed, Im going to use the Marine's ab to cover part of my belly, Im not in a excellent shape so, Im want hide some of it

right now Im printing the arms
if my initial deadline arrives and I dont print every piece, Im going to use my mandalorian belt as a placeholder

The build is looking very good so far, can I ask how did you put together the chest so you can put it on and take it off easily? Magnets?

I see, I'm making my own 3d printed suit at the moment so I'll be taking notes!

guys guys! update

I tried a snowboard visor and looks cool, but doesn't fit well, soo, I installed my placeholder orange visor

I have the entire arm assembly printed, I need to install the webbing, sand and paint

I have the boots asembled but I think Im going to reprint the rear piece

more updates in a couple of days

It’s looking fantastic, I like the idea of using a snowboarding visor so you don’t have to vacuum form or wrap one.

This week I finished the legs but I dont have pics about it, tomorrow I test everything and made all the webbing

guys guys! Update, I didn't gave up!

armor painted in "purple recruit" (this first iteration is going to be like this) in future versions Im going to change pieces like the legs for the correct ones
I installed the ENAV + MAGAZINES but I didn't scaled up soo its a bit small

I really like this paint job. Gives it a very sketched, water color, straight off the concept artists notepad kinda vibe.
