Hmm...I'm intrigued to try and dispell this, but also I don't want to end up ruining the movie if it's true... :cautious:

...I'll just wait till Thursday night. :)

I went to see it earlier today, came out yesterday but I couldn't get in to see it :(... anyway, I thought it was really good, I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I wont post any details but I thought it was quite a cool story and really well done :)

It was pretty surprising that there were less than ten people in the theater though, maybe it was because it was the digital version and not the regular one? I really don't know o_O

well, i was gonna go see it today after school with some hawt chix (lawl) but harkins at southlake isnt playing cloverfield for some reason... jerks

someone on imdb posted a review of the movie, doesn't sound to great. As one person said a while back, this movie has tremendous potential - to rock or to flop. Judging by the user comment on imdb, it's not going to rock. And, add to the fact it's only 1hr. 24 mins long seems really short. The comment said it looks like they had a sequel in mind when they made it.

I think it could be quite easy to not like this movie. I personally went in expecting very little, I knew almost nothing about it, just that it was about some monster in NY and that is was a J.J Abrams production... I'm a big fan of his work so that may be why I liked it so much :)

As for a sequel, I think it's possible but not in the traditional sense... only time will tell I guess

i loved it.

there is potential for a sequel, and i hope they do it. lol, after we left we started talking about a sequel. lawl. its title would be "Cloverfield Goes to Las Vegas"

hahahahahahaha

I saw it at 12:01 last night....well this morning, and I liked it. It was different. You leave with alot of questions, but I think its one of those movies you have to see twice to really understand it. The action was pretty intense and there were a few great comedic moments...lol "Are you aware of Garfield?"
By the way, theres a short teaser trailer for the new Star Trek movie, it looks cool.

Too bad for me, I was gonna go see it, apparently sister now wants to see One Missed Call...

More like "One Call Nobody Gives A **** About"

Cloverfield was AWESOME!!! Far surpassed my (already high) expectations...I thought it was done VERY well with little to argue with. Best movie of the year!!!! (get it, it's January...lol...) Althought I'm bummed that "whale" looking design wasn't used for the creature (the one all the fan sites had with the barnacle dudes on it) it was still incredibly awesome!!
