Hey Sik. how are you liking SJSU? Were you at the Shrunken Headman meeting today? Just so you know... and everyone else here. I'm hosting a Halo Reach launch party at my dad's house. I have at least one other classmate from SJSU who is attending so if you need a ride to and from it won't be a problem. It's an all night thing so if you're up for it let me know. I live in Livermore and there's plenty of room in the place. we got around 3 or more couches plus an extra air mattress. Hit me up soon dude. Or send me an email and i'll get back to you.

i have used your pep files in my own build and i really like them
but i have a question on your shins how did you get your foot through? :/

well the way I did the shins was originally by the 3D model from the beta. But knowing how hard it is to get these on I extended the face just above the top of your foot so that it could be sanded/cut back if necessary without looking off all that much.
If you look here, it's been cut back considerably in order to get my foot through, but it still looks pretty good.

i'll put up a couple close ups in my next post in a lil bit. deal?

Alrighty so I didn't get MUCH time to work on the suit today. But i did get some painting and put epoxy on what needed straps added etc. I got the biceps roughly sanded...not much but enough for the interest of time. as of now I'm waiting for the cod and Assault plate to finish curing before I take my sanders to them on saturday....if not then tomorrow if i'm EXTREMELY lucky.

And as I mentioned about the shins before...as you can see I sanded them up quite a bit to fit my foot through. It really depends on how much Fiberglass, resin and all you have inside

Oh, and ladies... if you guess the caliber of those guns, i'll give you a prize. lol (had to say it...but I'm serious, if you guess how much I can lift then I'll give whomever guesses right a drawing of their choice...I need the practice.this will be a semester-long gift)

So as of now i'm getting ready for work. But i'm nearly done. Just have to paint in the little details which shouldn't take more than a couple hours at most. I did not get all the ammunition cases i wanted because some got back ordered. So maybe by halloween they will be in stock. until then... I put on the cloth for the ghille suit and now i need velcro for the bayonet. Need to add padding to the helmet and install the speakers for my ipod to hook up to. other than that this puppy is looking good.

oh, and i got a hair cut... i hate having long hair.

i see what your talking about. i was unshure if cutting away a bit of the front would make it un acurate. its a good thing you responded so quickly i was right about to make it a two piece shin.

i really like how you took your build from making the pep file itself all the way to the finnished colored and detailed armor

Well this has been an exhausting week. i finally got my armor done and went to the Livermore launch events. Spent most of the time posing for pictures, but only have one from my younger brother here; more to come i hope. So the launch went really well. got my strategy guide with the reach artwork (which is how they suckered me into getting the bloody thing in the first place) and my legendary flaming helmet. I had my brother drive me from store to store in the back of my dad's truck and I have to say, it was a ton of fun. felt like being in a mongoose but not...maybe a warthog with a missing turret and no 4-wheel steering. lol

Now here's the killer. I get home to play reach all night...... and my 360 red-eyes on me... now most people would get pissed here...but i couldn't even get mad or depressed...more like a wth...murphey's law i suppose. but no worries...i'm not bitter. hope you guys are enjoying Reach. pretty awesome-looking. SJSU is pretty chill only that I'm never comfortable eating anywhere for some reason. Yeah, I was at the meeting, though I wish someone had explained to me about the universal clap 'cuz I was totally confused about it during the A/I meeting before that lol. I don't know if you saw some random dude in a red Jun helmet skating about sometime before Halloween, but that was my friend with my helmet.
