This is a HALO forum... I don't think there will be very much Stormtropper sympathy, especially since they're bad guys. We can't even get much Elite sympathy. It's just a joke (kinda), so chill and have some fun. I will give stormtroopes this: They're British. How awesome would it be to hear the chief say "Bloody grunt!" "Little Buggar!" or perhaps, "Oi, Cortana, quit your blithering you steupid AI!" but yeah... true fans can take their favorite things being poked at. Which is why I found Zero Punctuation's Halo Roast to be hilarious.

I love storm troopers... I just wanted to generate some fun play between the two "rivals" .

I'm presently writing some funny film shorts based on the differences. Me and a star wars fan are teaming up on it. All in good fun, not meant to offend anyone.

some of it could be used in the shorts...

ex:

Stormtrooper: Why do you hump dead corpses after you kill people
Spartan: Don't knock it, at least I KILL people... You can't hit the broad side of a bantha
Storm Trooper: What do you know about banthas?
Spartan: How to kill them
Storm Trooper: Why are you so violent? Do you ever make friends?
Spartan: Yeah, we just made friends with the elites...against my better judgement.
