hey guys!
yesterday, (September 4th, 2010) was a Halo Reach event that was hosted by Microsoft in Toronto, Ontario.
There was a little advertisement on the xbox360 dashboard.
I of course went in my full costume, I had a TON of fun! The second I stepped out with my costume, on my way there 5 people asked for pictures, high fives and fist bumps!
when I got there, I got escorted to the VIP line, to where there was a laser tag game going on, covenant vs elites! I didn't play because my thigh armour straps broke : ( and couldn't run. But I got to stay in the tents where drill instructors would have you stand at attention, "yell" at you and explain whats going on, you signed up for a Reach console and a waiver for the laser tag, the instructors allowed me to stay in the tent because I didn't play. There, everyone got a t-shirt as a "uniform". The instructors sometimes had people look at me and ask if they were scared because I'm a spartan
When I got out, I headed with some friends to another tent where there was a Rubies Masterchief posing for pictures, the chief and I later teamed up and took pictures, I was probably asked for pictures around 100 times lol
inside the tent was 12 stations of Halo Reach Firefight 5 minute rounds, the winner gets a dogtag. Inside were also massive cardboard cut outs of noble team and free keychains!
me and the chief got limited editon halo reach controllers for being in costume, I got a handshake from the organizers and such. I was supposed to get an interview from Inside Xbox, but I missed my chance
I also met 3 405th members, one was making a hayabusa helmet.
I didn't take pictures or video myself, but I found some for you guys.
