2nd ODST build

Also I am learning that galactic armory built their files for accuracy not mobility. The way the forearms and legs are structured you can’t bend them without running into the armor, not much I can do about the legs without cutting a hole in them which I might do later, but I can switch the way the arms or oriented so that there is a gap for my arm. The photo with the more flush elbow is original assembly, and the more prominent elbow is how I am likely going to attach it, even though it doesn’t look as good.
This is the way. I don’t need to be mobile if I stepped out of the game. I’ll T pose to victory if I have to

I'd be interested to see if the armor is just clipping through itself off screen in the games or if they have a solution to mobility. I also may need someone to carry me up the stairs if there isn't an elevator at hcs worlds.

Firstly, yes. Armour VERY MUCH clips in game. You think there is mobility to grab weapons off you back naturally? That is an ability only a Sith can teach.

Second, don't worry, they have a lift and escalators. If you need help when there hit me up. I am spending all my time at the community area because that is where I am working.

Suffered a minor setback yesterday when the paint arrived and was a completely different shade then ordered. Luckily a quick trip back to Home Depot means I now have the correct color. Also I picked up the backpack from the post office today, so it’s time to get sanding again. My best guess is that the armor and backpack will be ready for hcs, but I probably won’t have the money and time to buy too many extra things.

I locked in yesterday and painted the majority of the armor. The paint sprayer worked very nicely, although it did take a long time to dry. I wanted to make a post about how everything worked out with the sprayer and how it compares cost wise, but there is still a lot of unanswered questions I have, like if it works with primer, or different paint types? Anyways everything is still on track for hcs and next up is weathering once I finish the last few pieces.

Finally finished painting after a small setback. Because I was using interior paint, it didn’t dry well in the cold weather. Much of the armor had to be repainted which took a few days, but everything looks good again. The next step is weathering which I have no experience with so we will have to see how it goes. I’m planning on doing a black wash with maybe some silver outlines. If anyone has weathering advice it would be very much appreciated at the moment. Also my undersuit and vest arrived, so I believe I currently have all the supplies I need to finish my build.

Here's a bit from the Tutorial Index thread that may help for Weathering.
