Again, I appreciate your help and this will help me out a lot. Can't wait to get them ready.

Tony

It's cool with me man. You're too kind. Glad I was able to be part of such an epic team. The plates are boxed and ready to ship, just waiting to get to the post office, hopefully Friday.

About the legendary camo stealth shin pic: In the words of the great Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber......"killer boots man!"

@Hyper,
OOOOhhhhhh, you're not gonna beeeliiieeeve thiiisssss.....but the bondo ferry came and took all my body filler and resin, so I haven't been able to do any finish work, LOL!:) (true story...no really)

Small update on the helmet, Most of the helmet is finished. I got the little side detail things attached to the side cheeks I used epoxy clay to make them also carved all the missing lines into the helmet all I have left to do is finish up the details in the back mid section of the helmet which hopefully I can finish up by tonight so here are pics of the helmet how it looks at the moment also since this helmet will be molded I decided not to put the screws in the ear parts and on the cheek detail, those parts tend to get air bubbles when casting plus they can be added before painting the cast and will probably look better in the end

In this pic you can see that I still need to finish up details in the mid section of the back

Thanks Hugh, definitely would be cool to me you. Also, good luck on finishing it, I just checked some ref pics, looks like an awesome suit of armor!

Well, Here is an update guys, decided to repep the gauntlets, the first ones got a little warped, I'll use a bit more care this time...lol.

As you can see, I went with the Kirrou Gauntlets for this round and was only able to complete the right. Hopefully I can get the left done thoughout the week.

The gauntlet looks great Tony!. Every time I look at them I can't help but think of Iron Man Mk.III forearms, lol.:)

On a side note, I forgot to tell you.... be sure to have a garbage can nearby when you open your ab plates later, or else it'll look like you were having a confetti party!:)

Ok pretty much done with the helmet, all I need to do is trim the neck seal some and put some countersink holes where the screws need to go in the cheek details, Im leaving all the screw details off the helmet those can be added to the casts, I will be shipping the helmet to Blackula Wednesday so he can mold this baby. Now all I have left to do is make the visor buck so we can vacu form the visor for the helmet

Hope you like this one Tony

Thanks, my man. I received the side ab plates. They looked better in person :) Well, I'm shipping something to you today my friend and all that shredded nonsense you packed the plates with were utilized...lol. so don't get so saucy with ripping the box open or the party will be yours..lol

That's epic!!!

Thanks for the compliments on the build so far.

@ Hyper, looks fantastic my man. You're doing great work. Hopefully I can match your beautiful helmet.

Well, here are some more pics. As you can tell I like to post pics along the way instead of a bombshell completed model :p

Here is the shin, once I finish smoothing it and gettiing it its basic shape (hopefully by end of day wednesday), I'm sending to Hyper for finishing, detailing.

Tony, I have to say great work. I'm impressed with the detail work both of you put together. And I have to give it to you for pepping this HD gauntlet. I did one last year and I gave up, so I went with Hugh's LD gauntlet. In looking at the photo and in my experience with my kids' ODSTs, it is a little too big. The length should be a couple inches shorter than your arm. The size that you have now will actually make your arm difficult to bend. I sized my kids gauntlet a lot smaller. Still I had to trim the inside to allow them to bend. Otherwise, they couldn't even take off their helmets.

Can't wait to see more.

Thanks for the awesome comment CoolC. Yeah, the gauntlet was difficult and I actually adjusted the unfold to make it a little easier to work with. With that said, and I mean it with the upmost respect, I'm going to disagree on the scale, but I do agree with you on the practicality/functionality of these gauntlets with regard to there mobility. They will be difficult to take a helmet on an off. However, if you look at the game reference pics below, you can see that the gauntlets come all the way to the inside arm joint. This distance is roughly 9" for me, which is the same as the gauntlets I pepped. Also, my elbow sits just behind the the elbow piece that comes off the gauntlet. However, they will be difficult to move in, thats why I will most like cut this area out on my own set. I did look at the in game motion of the characters and you can see that the gauntlets on the game models actually move in an out of the characters biceps. Clearly they would hinder mobility with there current design, but as I said, I intend to make some adjustments on my molded pieces. Also, I want these pieces to fit other people too :).
