so i started my chest, and about 45 min i realize my head just missed fitting in the neck hole, i can squeeze in it now because the pep aint hard but if it was hard it would work , very very disappointed i was doing it quick and clean too , i made my pep file 400 mm in width

Nice looking helmet bro!

thanks theres like one part that got warped when i resin but i am pretty sure i can fix it with the bondo, but i am proud for my 1st pep, just waiting on my smooth cast to come in so i can harden the inside

and to anyone else with torso advice i am 14 inches arm pit to arm pit what should i make my torso;s width to fit me , i made it 400mm with is 15.74 inches but it was just about to small, i was thinking of making it 17 inches but i am afraid that will be to big , any suggestions?

Use Lex's new file. Its really good any fairly easy to make. I made mine 16in and its fits perfectly. I cant imagine you any taller then me. Im 6'5" and it cover my everything that it needs to (shoulder to shoulder. and goes down just below my rib cage). Im making a wip thread tomorrow there will be a picture of it its over 3/4 the way done.

for the reach chest files i do believe u need to measure shoulder to shoulder seeing as the chest piece goes over them, the master chief chest stops at the arm pit. thats just my 2 cents i don't know if im right or wrong hope that helps and ur stuff looks great can't wait to see them finished.

thanks i just did my first coat of smooth cast 320 and i have to say this stuff is pretty awesome, easy to mix and dry really really fast, i have to do one more coat to get the bottom edges but i am pretty happy with this stuff, i bought the trail pack which is enough to do one helmet i think it was like $25, for me its worth it because i live in ny queens and have a one year old running around so now toxic was the way to go , ok one more coat of smooth cast and i will post some pics and then start my chest again!!

so heres some pics of my smooth casted noble 6 , um i guess my pep wasnt air tight i had some leaks but its nothing sanding and bondo cant fix... i hope

Yea, that chest piece would be wearing you at 17in. i would think 15 3/4 would be fine then maybe even 15. youll have to judge where you like it.

Also the model your using will make a difference too. especially seeing how they all very so much.

Nice looking helm, and of course the spatula in the first picture is what truely makes it work!

Lol thanks , after looking at the pics I notice the drop in top left side I hope it's going to be able to be fix Id hate for all this hard work for nothing

Yeah, seen the dip but bondo is a great cure all. Key I have read and found is building it slowly rather than globbing a chunk in. I globbed and got some ugly air bubbles down inside which I found as I sanded down to them.
